I really want to buy one of these since they're so highly regarded, but I can't for the life of me think of why I'd want my coffee to stay scalding hot for more than 10 minutes 🤣

Fwiw this mug is rated to ensure coffee stays at about 150f for 8 hours. Not anywhere near brewing temps (200-205). If you leave it open for a bit it's pretty tolerable.

Saw the reviews on these last year and requested it for Christmas. Only used it twice, and am surprised I didn't enjoy it.

Mainly I disliked the flip lid. Maybe most people with travel mugs don't travel or maybe use mass transit. I drive and when I drink coffee I also like to see the road so I got annoyed with it real quick.

Also I don't consider myself a large person and yet I felt how skinny it was to be a bit dainty in my hands. But that's more of a preference thing.

I've been using Contigo insulated cups for years and have been very happy with them. However, one of my cars has a very narrow cup holder and they just don't fit which drives me nuts. According to the specs, the diameter of these are slightly less and should fit perfectly. Giving it a shot.

I don't know anything about the knockoff factor, but I've got one of these and I absolutely love it. I love the slim profile, which fits comfortably both in my hand and in my cupholder, while holding a 16oz drink. It does a good (not great, but very good job) of keeping drinks both hot and cold. Unlike another poster, I very much like the locking and flip top mechanism. And I really like the way it comes apart for cleaning the whole lid section.

Pro tip: Buy a bottle washer brush.

My only negative comment is that I don't think this is an especially great price. I've been keeping an eye on the blue one, waiting for it to drop below $20. It's been hovering within a dollar of here for quite some time.
