I bought four gallons (baby in house) of Good & Gather Vitamin D milk for $0.75 each by using the method below. Other varieties (2%, 1% and skim) are also on sale.

1. Change your Target "My Store" to one found in zip code 40241 or 40219. Typically done under "My Account". The discounted price will not show if you only change the pickup location; you must change "My Store" in your account.
2. Add milk to cart for pickup for a store near above zip.
3. Once in cart, change the pickup location to one in your zip code and check out. Should keep the low price.

All of the Bay Area, CA locations are showing: "Not eligible for Order Pickup"

Closest location eligible for pickup for any of the items is 190mi away.... Frown
Check it tomorrow. The store could change it during the day. I ordered some eggs at my store early today, now the eggs cannot be ordered for pick up at the same store. I guess they limit the number of orders due to fridge size.

The milk price in Northeast is regulated (I believe still is) and is always more expensive than rest of the country.
Not really. It may be state specific. I usually buy from an ALDI (Nearby Walmart is 0.5 miles). Milk is $1.30 a gallon in both Walmart & AlDI. Within 6 miles there is a Costco & another Walmart with very different prices ($2.7 for full fat at Costco & 3 dollars and change at the Walmart).
As far as I know, if you can find Walmart & AldI in the same area, thats where you should shop for milk and eggs. Both stores fight for foot traffic benefiting customers.

Sorry for late reply...couldn't get it to work via app but I did get it to work on my desktop. I used chrome incognito mode.

Second that. I have noticed the same thing, at least here in Texas.
I have 4 Walmart within 2 miles range. I usually check the price of the milk at each of the store, before heading out. A lot of times, At ALDI, the price is a little lower.

How long does Milk typically last in the fridge? Do these have dates for a week/10 days or less? Anyone know?
Make some probiotics out of it. Kefir or Indian curd. Doesn't go bad in 1 year at room temperature or in the fridge You'd save the milk and also save your digestive system!!!

That is incredibly resourceful. I am not so good at making those probiotics. That would require a lot of work and maybe beyond my skills.

Thanks. Looks like it's back for me as well. I'm able to follow original steps and change pickup to two local stores (all others unavailable). Enjoy!

Thanks for the heads up! Checked again today and some Bay Area locations have pickup as an option now. None that are near me, but good to know it changes!

I do not think it is related to fridge size. I noticed that Vitamin D milk is available at my store, but not eligible for pickup, whereas 2% is available and eligible for pickup.
