Fair enough about FreeSync, not sure where I got that. However, I'm more inclined to believe a US page for a monitor sold in US than a page from Australia.

Sorry, the review you linked is for a different model, Q3279VWF. I haven't been able to find any reviews outside of Amazon.
VA monitors are ideally curved because of the contrast drift near edges. It'll still look way better than IPS in terms of contrast, general image quality, buhhhhhh.. at this price, would've liked some curvy.

Also a game like Flight Simulator 2020, could you play the game on Max settings and get the best bright vivid colors of the game? or would you recommend another monitor for that.

This specific monitor only has 2 US reviews on Amazon. The rest are for the other models (or possibly international reviews but I couldn't filter for them.)
I have almost same monitor. I got the other staple one from cyber monday. More outputs, freesyne, ips. But no vesa. I now regret the lack of vesa pretty badly since I cant portrait the screen. Overall aoc makes nice budget 2k 32 in monitors. For the price you can't expect much. This ones lack of inputs but vesa is not bad at all. I'd still wait for a 2k 27" with vesa for a lot less.

Pretty sure there isn't a consumer video card available today that can run MS Flight Sim 2020 max settings at 1440p or above.
