the roll-top bag is awesome, i have it in grey & paid about $55 new. really nice quality & cool modern 'techy' vibe. at this price it's a steal IMO.

Roll top is more water resistant and simple, allows for the ability to load it full or low and be able to roll it down to make it as compact as possible. Based on a rucksack, with a philosophy on durability, the idea that it's simple and strong means less can go wrong. My backpacking pack is made of xpac material, and looks like the adidas pack May be the same, which would make it waterproof.
