First of all, you will need a CVS ExtraCare card. This is obtained easily at any store at the register. Some will ask you to fill out the form then and there, others will just give you the card and ask you to return the form later.
Once you have the card, you can now start CVSing
The biggest thing to understand is that CVS uses a promotional program called "ExtraCare Bucks" (commonly abbreviated as ECBs.) These print out on your receipt immediately once you purchase an item offering them; almost like an instant-rebate you get at the register. You can turn around and use them anytime on almost anything in the store, except for alcohol, cigarettes, and gift cards.
Often, CVS advertises items as "Free after ECB" – For example, throughout the month of November, CVS has Crest Pro Health Whitening Toothpaste in 4.2 oz size, for free after ECB. The cost is $3.49, but you get $3.49 back instantly on your receipt. The best part is that there are often coupons available that can actually help you earn money… like for the above toothpaste, there are $1 off coupons available, meaning the item would be $2.49, but you get $3.49 in ECBs back. The limit on this toothpaste for this month is 2. So if you wanted to start off small to get into CVSing, the thing to do would be to buy one toothpaste in the first transaction (and use a coupon if you have one, so that you either pay $3.49 or $2.49 in cash), then use the $3.49 ECBs you get back from that first transaction to pay for the second tube of toothpaste, and again, receive $3.49 more in ECBs.
The trick now is to roll your ECBs so that you rarely pay more than maybe a dollar or two in tax on transactions, instead using your ECBs from previous transactions… then earning more to keep doing the same. It's a cycle (and a game/addiction to some, lol.)

Oh, and Emily has a bunch of training bras ( where were all these super cute training bras when I was 10? I had two choices, boring, and really damned boring)
I also got talked into a shirt, and a 6 pack of Propel, and all of us got $1 flip flops from the dollar bins.
Ok...so file this under odd. Earlier tonight I wanted to chips and salsa. I found some in our fridge that hadn't been opened yet and it said "Best by June 15th." so I'm thinking..."Ok...BEST by two weeks ago but it hasn't been opened so it's probably ok." So I pull back the plastic seal and the first few bites I'm like "Wow...it's got kind of a biting taste on the tonge."....then I realize it's probably gonna bad. You know how you eat cantalope or watermelon...and it's overripe and it kinda tingles on the tongue?
So anyway....I wake up feeling kinda sick to my stomach. I come out here and sit on the couch and I keep hearing this noise...like the dog letting out a big breath. Then i see the salsa still sitting on the table next to me (but closed). I pick it up...and the farking thing is making noises!!! Wth?
