Pretty bad? For this speed it's better than average. In a real world environment the difference between "incredible" timings and "good" timings is unnoticeable. In benchmarks you might be looking at 3-4fps in games and 200 points in Cinebench at close to double the price.

This is a good deal.
I figured you knew what you were talking about and yes, b-die is better (I'm running similar speeds to yours on mine) but enthusiasts have a different mindset. I spent the extra money because I wanted those extra frames and that extra 200pts in Cinebench. I also probably tweaked it for hours, changing voltages, re-running benchmarks, changing timings, stress testing... You did this. I did this.
Most people won't/can't do those things to eke out tiny increases.
I stand by my statement. It's good ram. it's a good deal. I just don't want people to think their systems will be gimped based on what you said. It wouldn't.
Correct on timings, and yes it's a good deal for RGB and capacity.
Don't be mean, he was right. You're also right for the majority of people here, they also won't notice. It's not just the tRCD timings here, but the underlying subtimings that are probably slower. They set the CL lower and compromise elsewhere but can market it as CL16.
Don't be mean. I'm an overclocker with a love of b-die because I've seen the performance gains, but I'm also not a typical user who just games all the time. Some people do want faster timings, or want to point out to others that heads up the price is lower due to slower subtimings; let them comment about it without being rude to them.
Also, I've racked up DCs. I've also OCd (relevant here), and seen poor subtimings drop performance like a rock.It was constructive to see someone else say they have tuned their Neo kit to 65ns... only if it is the same kit as this though. Fwiw, I recently posted a b-die kit at $175 (only $20 more) which was known to go to 3800 CL16 and low latency from community testing. It's nice to have that 15% bump, and the journey is half the fun too, let people have their fun without the vitriol please.

I'll probably wait until Black Friday time frame to get the rest of my components. This seems like a pretty good price for 3600 CL16. What do you think slickdealers will the price continue to fall?

Last year this or similar ripjaws went for btw $129 - $149...

Black Friday will be cheaper, but who knows.
Rumors say the prices for memory will fall 10% in Q4 2020, but since its 2020, you can't really can't count on any of the rumors. There could be another supply chain issue, fire at a factory, the whole internet crashes; the next calamity is anybody's guess.
I think the only computer part I'd comfortably wait on is a power supply.
What's difference between neo series vs rgb series - I got F4-3600C16D-32GTZNC for like $10
More than this. Is it just about RGB difference or anything else ? Newegg compare shows everything same expect the model numbers.

They both have rgb, only diff I can see is the color scheme.
Did 32gb CL 16 with 3600mhz ever go down to 120ish?
Recently saw an openbox return for $119.99 at microcenter.. if it were $100 I would have pulled the trigger.. just to have 4x16.. tho I can't seem to push past 20 on any series of apps.. maybe windows prevents it from happening in some ways when you have SSD...
I also want another pair of these to hit 64GB for my 3D rendering, but the frequency of ram and NVMe sales is suspicious. Going to wait like the other Slickdealers here.
