    OP is 13¢ an oz vs 16¢ for the smaller bars for me after 5 or more S&S and 20% off coupon. But no go for me. Once you go dipped you never go back.... Unless you're a toddler. Too messy for them. That's where the smaller ones come in handy. And the foil wrapper is harder for them to eat. The big bars have some sort of swirl on top which was tempting but I could picture that crumbling off.

    I've compared the labels of the Quaker bars and other energy bars like KIND, Clif, and Atkins bars and ended up with the Quaker bars in my cart. Quaker has about 1/2 the protein as the energy bars, but ingredients, fat, and carbs are quite a bit more for the same size energy bar.

    This isn't a Pop Tart or Pringles thread to bash for unhealthy.

    All of the bars you compared against are garbage candy bars, but even Snickers are an okay choice if you are expending energy. Eat what you want to eat, and chill out about other people vocalizing what many people are thinking. Thanking the OP isn't exactly bashing the thread.

    There is bad math here. How could 3lb 6oz for 8.40 cost more per oz than 3lb 5oz for $8.71. The 20% off is just for the first order.

    I'm not sure which prices you are using. for me the pricing was 8.71 versus 9.55 for the smaller bars before applying the 20% if coupon. these figures include 15% off for 5 or more S&s items as well as 20% of coupon but the outcome should be the same whether you're comparing 5% off for fewer s&s items, 20% coupon or not... etc as long as you keep it consistent for both items.
