I honestly thought I wouldn't like them. But man after using them for a few sessions they are really good. They are also super convenient over adjustable spinlock dumbells and take up less room than a whole set of 5-70.
I don't think those are compatible. The elites are square shaped. These look oval at the top. That's one thing I dislike about Powerblock, so many options that it gets confusing.

Looked at getting the base and both expansions... $105.75 shipping?!? WTF.
With tax (CA), that brings the total up to $710.80. I bought my 70 lbs PowerBlock Classic a few years ago from Amazon for $324.66 after taxes and shipping; it would cost more than double to go from 70 to 90 lbs.
No freaking way. I guess I'll just make my peace with the lighter weight for a little while longer.
