The picture in the OP is showing a CPU cooling fan, not a bike.

it's felt pad resistance vs magnetic resistance with the echelon. you want magnetic.

Echelon flywheel is 33lbs is a bit to light. Ic3 has 40lbs flywheel makes riding more smooth and more realistic. I have schwin ic4 $800. I love it. If you want to save $$ with magnetic resistance, +40lbs flywheel , get a Sunny bike. It is as good as IC4 but without cadence and heart sensor. Cadence and heart sensor probably cost about $150. On sale Sunny bikes cost $400 to 500 on Amazon. Sunny bikes are ready to ship immediately while ic4 you have to wait at least 45 days, probably longer

Features wise Echelon seems better. If that one was still available I would have gotten that. With that said, Schwinn exercise equipment usually gets good reviews. I have a Schwinn Elliptical I am happy with it so far.

Very confused when I saw a CPU cooler for $499. This better keep my temps near absolute zero for it to be the price it is.

When I first look at the picture, I thought you have to peddle for the cpu cooler to work. Getting rid of some fat while sitting in front of your computer.
