it's funny, i didn't think it would be such a huge jump. picked up an OMEN27 a while back super cheap with the amazing Discover PP back in the day. my god, playing things at 144-165Hz is soooo buttery smooth.
equally as troubling is the low 1080 resolution on a 34''... i wouldn't even get a 27'' at 1080, such a waste of physically desk space for nothing. this being the same 13'' height as a 1920x1080 27'', just 8'' wider. i'd pass.
There is a Sceptre 2560x1080 30" 21:9 which is much more acceptable @ 1080p (also 85hz) and has gone on sale for $200 if you hold out.

On here last time for $430. No way in hell youll ever see a ultrawide 34" 144hz qhd at this price point of course if it was like a price mistake
This is a good deal. 3440x1440 is $470 including tax. Only problem is refresh rate appears like.
