Rent in UHD it will play back in HD (at least on Vudu it will, have no idea about the others).

VUDU has deals for 4k hdr playback. On consoles xbox exclusive pc says you can but end of last year they took away 4k play on vudu app. So either get roku/firestick ooor atleast xbox one s for 4k play. Sick of exclusive anti consumer bs
