Girlfriend got it for $602 shipped after discounts and referral. I'm buying the Buds+ from her for $62, so she was only out $540 for a new college laptop. Can't beat that!

I think this also depends on what college you go to. One college email never got a signup confirmation, while the other was seamless signup and check out.

That sounds more like a mail filter issue from that university's mail server. Maybe check the junk/spam folder; otherwise the college blocked it internally.

I find 12gb ram to be very odd. Wont be dual channel with this setup either
In this case 8gb of ram will be dual channel and 4gb not.

Unless you've already made a purchase with the account, you can't give out referrals without making a purchase first.

Can you please let me know of the exact link that one can signup with an edu email, because the top link in your submission doesn't work. I have a valid university email, and samsung accounts. Just don't see a place to "register an edu email" with, as the checkout for the deal leads to id.me

Or is that most of you have gotten the deal through that id.me verification?
Sorry for the bother, y'all!

Fellow Arsenal fan,
Have a look at a nearby best-buy. I saw one a while back, and the build quality and screen are great. Felt solid. Aesthetically, the bottom bezel is a little large, but that's because of the 16:9 wide aspect and them wanting to give more space to the keyboard area etc. 16:9 laptops with all around thin bezels have little palm rest area and smaller trackpad heights

Bought the 14 inch Flex for 499 at Staples a couple of weeks ago. This better? The flex was i5 but 16gb ram.
