Of course it matters. I am in no rush for this. A true SDer always checks price history. It's not like it was a year ago. It was only a few weeks ago. It it happened once, it can happen again.

~ $683. Plus I got the Galaxy Buds, not the Buds+. Kind of a bummer.

I can get the i5 version for $399 if I trade in my s5e tablet on Samsung website. Is it worth the upgrade from a tablet if used it for streaming youtube, twitch and browsing the internet for extended periods of time? Which would last longer, tablet or pc?

Here's a trick, look up Samsung alpha flex on the Slickdeals search. It will show you all the previous threads. As far as I'm concerned, I'm pretty sure this is the best deal we've seen for this laptop by quite a bit.

If this has USB-C charging, i would've jump on it.
I had this one for a about a week and that's exactly why I sent it back. Not only no usb c charging, but the barrel on the barrel charger was so skinny it looked like it would break off in the computer if you just bumped it against something.

Price aside... are these any good? How is the build quality, warranty, customer service?
I had one for about a week. Gorgeous screen, decently fast, Samsung integration with my note 10 was great, battery life was good too, but the only way to charge it is with the barrel charger that comes with it. And the barrel is super skinny. I had the same charger with the galaxy view tablet, and broke the barrel off in it twice. Both times it was charging and I knocked it off the couch for a fall of about two feet. I could take that risk with a $200 tablet, but not with that laptop. It also slides real easy on any smooth surface. If I could have charged it by usb-c I would have kept it.

THanks. I will say usb-c ports on laptops often lose their abilty to charge so that wasn't a dealbreaker for me. It seems to be a weak point in the port (it will still work for usb-c but the charging ability stops). I've had that happen personally and heard its common.

Does it really matter? Do you have a Deloreon
This is getting old. If the past price doesn't matter, how do you know you're getting a good deal today?

I ordered and canceled. Didn't offer 10% Frown
Same for me. I cancelled as other reasons and wasn't offered 10%. Can't get referral code to work again to try to reorder.

looks nice and good price. Unfortunately for my line of work I need minimum 16GB ram and even up to 32GB optimally. So will have to pass ;(
