What sort of sustained read write speeds are you getting for large files? The reason I ask is bc several Amazon reviews say it slows to almost HHD speeds when transferring large amounts. That's no bueno for my needs...

Seems to have a 2242 nvme inside, would be nice to shuck, anybody has experience? There's a niche market for these little drives: the 2016/2017 13" macbook pro non-touchbar version can use these with an adapter. Bam instant budget storage upgrade.

I have the 1TB as well .. it screams. I'm quite happy with it. Not to mention the 1TB went up in price and hasn't come back down.
