Staples [staples.com] have the Lenovo Flex 5 Intel i5 16GB RAM 512GB SSD available for shipping again. Price is now $549.99 so an increase of $50 from the previous deal. So if you don't want the Ryzen 4500U version you can save $50 and get an extra 256GB SSD.

Although the weekly ad [staples.com] did not show in-store only, the online price has been stuck at $729.99 for the first few days when it finally came back in-stock for shipping. That has now been rectified.

OOS already

Staples usually has the best Lenovo Flex price available. It comes and goes so you got to check it often and order quickly once it's available.

Got an i7 flex weeks ago, very happy with the quality and price.

Well I'm not understanding this. It shows available for shipping when I use the mobile site, and when I use the Staples app (see attached image). I haven't actually clicked the order button because I don't want it. What stage in the order process are you folks getting the "Not available for shipping" message?

I click on the Staples link in your original post, and it goes to a page showing the product that says it is OOS.

So that's right at the start. Did you try refreshing the page? Maybe try the Staples app? Also, I suppose it might be a regional deal/issue (I'm in Northern VA), but it's been OOS for shipping for a long time, and only came back in-stock on Sunday, but showing the $729.99 price. I did chat with CS a few days ago and they said it would be possible to go into the store and get them to do a kiosk order with an in-store price adjustment to the weekly ad (which I wasn't going to try as I'm not looking to buy a new laptop right now). I find it hard to believe that it would've gone OOS for online orders that quickly at the $729.99 price...

7 TD and now reported expired. And yet my Staples app, their web site, and Staples CS say it's still in-stock for shipping nationwide. Who to believe, who to believe...? And now someone has added another TD after it's reported expired! What is going on here?

don't worry about it OP. it shows as in stock for me. don't worry too much about the TDs or TU's for that matter on SD. People hand them out for the smallest things. It's a good deal, have a rep on me!

edit: forgot to mention the most important thing: i believe Staples sometimes will show you OOS messages vs in stock messages based on your location. I remember office depot does something similar. Mostly because it is cheaper and makes more sense for them to restrict certain items to regional stock. the stock number is tied to your final delivery address ... <-- take all that with a grain of salt, this is all from vague memory. but my store has been showing In stock all day.

was $499 just a few weeks ago... went to store and they refused to sell and said they were oos.

It looks like this is back in stock (at least for my location). Don't know how many units because Staples Chat is not available right now. It is showing in next week's ad as well...
