FYI: The pizza is 18" in diameter and weighs a little over 2 pounds--maybe 34 ounces. The ones we get have a very thin crust--similar to New York-style pizza with a modest amount of sauce and cheese. It's not like Costco pizza, which has a thicker crust and a lot of cheese (over a pound).
My pizza the second week was 16" in diameter in a 16" square box. Same store as last week which gave me an 18" pizza (about 20% smaller compared to first week).
Third week pizza: Box is back to 18" and pizza is a bit over 17" in diameter and weighed 34 oz (same as first week).

Five Guys burger:: McDonald's single hamburger
I've had pizza slices all over the world.
From high end at Little Italy, to a nice thick slice during a cold Buenos Aires day.
Dollar slices in New York are proof that Heaven exists. Dollar slices or 2 for $2 at 7/11 while I'm piss drunk at 2am are proof that hell exists.
I used to even load them up on the free toppings station with sauerkraut and other things.
Used to make such a mess but I was so lit that I probably enjoyed it.
Papa John's was top tier for many years.
But the switched things up and their pizza doesn't taste half as good yet it's more expensive.
Pizza Hut is only good with deals as it dissolves in your mouth. I would never pay full price at Pizza Hut. $6or$7 per pie tops.
Same with Dominos, and yes they have improved drastically. I always hated that beach sand they would place beneath the crust. That's what it felt like, little pellets of corn sand lol
Little Caesars deep deep dish is insane.
The ingredients aren't as good but the crust and texture are brilliant.
Their extra most bestest pizzas with extra cheese and or pepperoni are brilliant as well for under $7.
I went to BJ's Brewery and tried their so called deep dish, it was a poor excuse for pizza. It wasn't even deep dish, not even close.
Uno's deep dish is blah, overpriced and their tomato sauce tastes like Ragu.
Giordano's deep dish is the best from any chain restuarant.
Best cheese slice I've ever had is at a hole in the wall is Hollywood Florida named Mauro's pizza.
But they're quality and consistency is on a steady decline these past 10 years.
Best topping slice I've had was in Argentina.
It didn't even have tomato sauce.
Named the Fugazetta. It is a century-old Argentine pizza. The dough should be quite thick and bready – in fact, more like focaccia. Topped with a shocking amount of provolone cheese, finely shredded raw onions, green olives, and dusted with a bit of oregano and red pepper flakes, it is a wondrous creation.
Local pizzerias around USA are expensive if you plan on spending less than $20
Average slice in Florida is $4.
Most pizzerias don't even sell slices.
Lastly Whole Foods. Their pizza is just ok. Honestly I've never had a slice I didn't like. Even if it tastes like crap or if I burn my homemade pizza. I'll still eat it, food doesn't go to waste around me.
Although WF sells meats, they only really specialize in organic and all things vegan.
Definitely worth the $6 for a large. May be even $7 or $8.
I usually make homemade pizza from scratch. Or when I'm lazy or tired I pop frozen pizza in the oven or go and pick one up at PH, Dominos or LC.
One thing I've learned is to make your own toppings.
It'll make your pizza taste so much better and it's so much cheaper. Throw some chopped onions, diced garlic on the skillet. Add some sliced olives with no pit. I also love putting cooked kale on my pizza.
Or just throw slices of ham, salamk or pepperoni in the air fryer for a few mins.
Pizza has no limits. It is meant to be enjoyed.

It is pretty good. Not amazing, but far better than ANY other pizza you might get for $6!
Another guy came after me and wanted a pizza with pepperoni on it for $6. They said "no" only cheese. He said he would pay for pepperoni. They said it would be $17 with pepperoni, or $6 with cheese only. He ordered the pepperoni, took it to the register, and proceeded to throw a hissy fit when they said no discount on the pepperoni. The best part is that he said, and I quote "I am very well known on places like Slickdeals, and if you don't give me the appropriate discount, I am going to let people know." They said "I don't know what that is, and no, no discount." So this guy opens the box, takes two slices out in a sandwich, takes a nasty bite out of both of them, shoves them back in the box and shouts "OK keep it" and storms off.
You don't want to meet Slickdealers in real life.

But seriously, if you're the guy and if this is true... for the sake of humanity, go check yourself.

Cashier was amazed at the deal and said he should pick one up himself for lunch. Good pizza for the price.
