    I've had mine installed for a few years, actually moved it when we upgraded countertops. I don't think I've even changed batteries.

    We put ours in during a full kitchen reno this spring. I kind of like it, but kind of annoyed by it too. It works every time, but can be temperamental when washing say a stainless pot. For some reason, some materials set it off like a foot away from the sensor, but to turn it on/off with your hands you have to get within ~2" or so. I'm kind of wishing I had gone with a touch sensor version instead.

    Yes it has been a few times it looks like. Hard to tell if post Covid prices are now higher thought- so what I'm saying is not sure on the chances of coming back down to $99,

    Bought this last time it was on sale. I wasn't convinced about the motion sensor and thought maybe I'd leave it turned off, but I really like it. Works well (except when washing a big pot, as other people have mentioned).
