Kobalt 80V Max Brushless Cordless Battery Mower - Push - $249.50 / Self Propelled - $299.50 YMMV at Lowes

This is quite a lower price than what hit the front page last week or the week before.

Self Propelled - $299.50 [lowes.com]
Brickseek - Self Propelled [brickseek.com]

Push - $249.50 [lowes.com]
Brickseek - Push [brickseek.com]

YMMV on price - seems hit or miss on stores around me. Some have the previous clearance price, but some have this newer price. Zip 43219 is an example that has the lower price.
It seems last night (8/31-9/1) a lot more stores dropped their price to this new clearance price.

There are $20 off $100 coupons available at auction sites that work. Pay attention, some area specifically online only and some area in store only. (Thank you crazydealer88)

I ended up getting the push version for $244 after tax and after coupon. Add roughly $4 for the coupon.
$249 + $4 coupon + tax - $20 - 5%

The $250 price point is what I'm waiting for. It's still priced at $324 in my area so this is a good sign as prices tend to trickle down.

Does lowe's allow returns on clearance items? I bought one last week for 389 (still new in box) and they won't price match because it's a clearance item. I was thinking of purchasing another at the new price and returning the other one I bought last week. Just don't want to get stuck with 2.

I have the self propelled version, and i think it is worth the extra $50. If you have to mow asking any sort of incline, i think getting the self propelled is a no brainer. Have been using a Kobalt 80V self propelled mower for 2 seasons now and have been very satisfied. Hopefully the battery powered riding mowers will become more mature in the next 5 to 10 years so I can finally ditch the final piece of gas powered tool in my possession and become 100% electric.

Sweet. TU. I'm glad I waited and not pull the trigger when it was $324.

Why would you get stuck with 2? As long as you have your receipt, shouldn't be a problem.

That's exactly what I would do.

Yes, they will accept returns for clearance items within the 30 day window.

Do you know if it can be returned at a different store? Got one for $389 at a store which was like 30 mins away. So not sure if I can return at the nearby store.

Nothing near me yet, but a store does finally have the self-propelled for $389. OOS, but I was able to order it for pickup within 7 days at that price. So try that if you can find one.

That I'm not sure but you can just call them and ask before you lug the big box over there.

I'd buy but concerned about the support. Seems to me they're clearing out the kobalt 80v making room for ego. I wish there was more information about where this line was headed. Discontinued or cutting back

Does anybody know if the trick to buy something at one location, then switch locations after placing an order still works? Haven't bought from Lowes in a long while.

Even if it's flat, self propelled helps. You mow one row and turn 180 degrees, it's easier to just propel it forward than walking all the way around the mower and pushing it from a dead stop. Plus of course this goes double if you are doing this on a hill.
