They are truly the worst and have never handled more uncomfortable cookware myself. Comfort matters in lots of areas of life - shoes, ski boots, mattresses, bedding, pillows...and...handles on pots and pans you cook with multiple times every day!
"Leaving it at that" would be a disservice to people considering this deal as All-Clad didn't intentionally design the handle to be uncomfortable. They actually put thought into the design. That needs to be clarified so people can make an informed decision.
This is heavy cookware. The 'helper handles' are there for a reason...use them and don't try to one-arm it, and all is well.

The handles on this All-Clad line make them very uncomfortable to cook with IMHO.

I've seen this line before and I agree. Based on your experience which line is the most comfortable?

The frying pan alone goes for $100 and the saute pan around $150 these are made in USA pans with a lifetime warranty. The rest are icing on the cake.

My girlfriend got this set. I got a set of Calphalon SS for $70 on a deal from BJ'S like 6 months ago and they've been great. I will link the deal below but its not still active.

Agree. I cannot find a reason why they designed such uncomfortable handle. They have other collections with "solid" handles.
