I'm still seeing OP's price, look under new and used. It's sold by Amazon Warehouse Deals.

The core problem with this tech is that it's not Z-Wave or Zigbee, rather it hogs bandwidth on congested Wi-Fi, and worse, consumes far more battery life while relying on a proprietary hub. It's a dumb purchase compared to legit home automation.
That's true for the normal August switches. These pro models have zwave IIRC and can connect directly to smartthings. I'm pretty sure it's not using wifi for that connection, normally it uses bluetooth for connection to the phone, but connecting through smart things allows remote operation without use of the included wifi hub.

I like mine got it for $80 a few years ago and thought it was a steal.

Have you purchased this product? I do not think you understand how this tech works. The bolt is BT. The hub is dual BT and WiFi. This is clearance pricing since their latest version does not need the hub. All smart home products are going to WiFi for many reasons. WiFi is not congested and if you have a multi-band router, you put all your smart home on one band and your phone on the other. WiFi 7 helps with the shape of your living space. The biggest problem with WiFi is how it interacts with other objects.

I have this product and love it. The only issues I have are: Hub BT signal is too weak, and they keep breaking the app. The app is more stable on IOS. When the app is working, the door will be unlocked once you get to the door because of geofencing. This is great for kids or if my "hands are full". It is also nice to remote unlock for the kids. Nice hardware, wish they QA the software more.

You don't know about the product so why post something? It does have Z-wave and the batteries last about 10 months, I don't think you can say it's consuming a lot of battery.

I've had this lock for about 2.5 years, maybe a little more. Works great.

I bought one of these for $140 about a year and a half ago. It's been solid. No brainer for me at $90 (putting on my moms house)

App was trash for me on android. Battery drain and inconsistent My whole unit broke after 18 months and all they offered was a discount code that didn't even work. Never again.

I have one of the locks without the wifi bridge. It's been pretty good. They should have a widget for unlocking the door. The auto unlock works well if the app is open. If you close all or restart phone it won't auto unlock. Overall it's been pretty good. The best feature is if you have kids it auto locks on a timer. So no need to remember to lock the door on the way out.
