Yes I have. I have used ring which are decent but need crazy good wifi and don't have 2k, blink which have no range, worse picture quality than stickup cams and don't work in the ring app, wyze which were only indoor and are a good cheap option but have annoyances ie cooldown 12 second clips, and eufy which are the clearest pictures and load fastest to live view out of all of them. I currently have a combo of ring and eufy both indoor and out as the other 2 didn't make the cut.

Terrible call this is leagues above blink cameras. Might as well get wyze if you are getting blink.

Just a word of warning if you plan on using with HomeKit.

HK will drain the battery FAR quicker than one year advertised on the box. I have to charge my 3 cameras about once a month.

If you are just using the Eufy software, then it should last about a year

Anyone have any input about how this compares to the 2c? The 2 has one year battery life vs the 2c 6 months. And the 2c has a spotlight built in which the 2 does not. Any other differences? I believe the 2c pack is the same price on amazon.

Have you personally used both?
I have. Blink was really terrible at capturing footage and the quality was terrible. I had arlos for a while, but every 2 to 3 months you had to charge them and the app kept asking for a password every week even though it is suppose to remember me. I gave eufy a shot even though they are a Chinese company. Now I have 2k pro outdoor, 3 indoor, 1 rotation indoor camera, doorbell, and soon door knob when they are wifi. And they update the software all the time. Support was super friendly as well. Glad I made the switch.

The eufyCam 2 Pro 2K is also on sale at $299.99. Is it worth paying $80 more for the 2K version?

Doesn't really look like the upgrade is worth it. At least not for my needs.

Most likely. The difference will be worth it when you want to be able to more clearly see a person's face or possibly even read a license plate...that definitely isn't happening with the 1080p cam, but might be possible with 2k depending on distance and time of day, etc

The 2c: older imaging sensor, 6month battery, very compact size, has spotlight

Regular 2: 1year battery, better sony imaging sensor, anti-theft alarm, no spotlight, 'larger' size than 2c but still compact overall

the 2c is available for $175 on amazon 'renewed' which in my experience means basically brand new but open box. 90 day amazon warranty

I ordered this on a whim before I went to bed last night just in case it sold out fast. I'm leaning towards canceling tho and waiting for a deal on the 2k. Has anyone used both and can give advice as to which one would be preferable?
Here is a comparison video between the two. https://youtu.be/ZTt_FLM4yp4

Beat me to it. Based on his review it's not worth it.

Interesting, so basically buying the 2k now is going to be less beneficial until they release a firmware update that allows the user to increase the video bitrate. Still, there was a noticable sharpness improvement from the 2 pro

Been using this for more than 2 months. The cam will not detect any motion (even I walk in front of it 4-5 feet) from time to time. These cases are I noticed, must be more I didn't aware. Have to change the sensitivity back and forth to make it work again.

The 2c's spotlight is weak, thus a bit useless. Instead I use a solar powered led light with motion detection with my Eufy cameras. The 2c cameras also do not have antitheft alarm in the cameras themselves.

Here's a comparison table of all Eufycams. https://justclickappliances.com/e...omparison/

That's an awesome deal. Have this exact setup along with the doorbell camera and love them. Eufy has been good to us

I can't really compare but the spotlight was the main reason I chose the 2c. Spotlight might not be the best but to me it's enough to startle an animal or at least make an potential intruder react to it.

Does it support Homekit Secure Video?
