I had this mouse and tried to get Logitech to warranty it after it would randomly start double clicking on a single click (known issue). Logitech had me go through hoops and crawl over a bed of nails to prove this issue to them. They wanted a clicking test, with a video, specifically the video had to have my name somewhere, the mouse, and the test in the background. This was hard enough to do as it was an intermittent issue, but I still went through and did this. At the end of it, after sending the video, they refused to warranty the mouse because "the clicking was still within tolerances".

Ended up using my Geek Squad warranty to get a different mouse. Was a crazy experience but this definitely wasn't the G600 replacement I was hoping for.

I haven't used the G604, but the G602 is such a great mouse for work. You can actually save macros for the side buttons to on board memory which I have for copy and paste, win left or right, and certain SAP specific binds.

The shape looks very similar to the 602 which I find to be incredible comfortable.

I was a long time user of the g602. So I recently bout a g604. It's VERY comfortable, though not quite as comfortable at the g602. I really wanted to like it more but it didn't fit the palm quite as well. The side buttons are a little cheap feeling and the mouse is a little on the heavy side. I would suggest this mouse more for office use than gaming. However, the kicker for me that made me end up returning it for a Razer Basilisk Ultimate is that the Ghub software is TERRRRRIBLE. I like setting up custom button mapping and the software was borderline unusable. Overall I liked the mouse, and I like it better at this price point, but I would suggest looking elsewhere unless you just use it out of the box with no adjustments. I also suggest looking at YouTube reviews of this mouse, they are spot on and will give you an accurate idea of if this mouse is right for you.

You could get 602s as low as $25 each recently. Is the 604 substantially better in any way?

It has a new better sensor for gaming which is the main benefit from what I can tell. I believe it has slightly better battery life as well. also it now has Bluetooth.

It has the hyperscroll wheel so you can have clicky scrolls like normal or go hyper fast scrolling if you need it. Very useful when dealing with really long documents.

I had bought a stockpile of the 602's at that price point. I gave away several and now kinda wish I hadn't because they are finally gone and the only ones available are marked up.

I "upgraded" to the 604 and whiles it's basically the same for my usage, the middle click is not quite as "clicky" as the 602 and is not as good. I use the middle click quite a bit so this kinda sucks.

They also removed the dual battery compartment that the 602 had.

I ordered the Asus rog spatha to see if it would do the same job, but it was a stuttery mess. it had constant drops from 6 feet away. not ok for a $150 mouse.

next up is the new razer with the swappable sides. maybe it will do the job of a $25 mouse?

If it anything like the g602 expect it to develop double clicks with the left MB and dropped middle clicks. Logitech was nice enough to replace my 1st g602 for free but after a few years the 2nd also developed the same problems. Upgraded to a viper ultimate and haven't looked back

I like the hyper scroll wheel and I also love the ability to connect to 2 devices. My gaming PC hooked up to the dongle and my Pixel Slate or gaming laptop connected to Bluetooth.

i left logitech for years due to software being useless in windows, which was a pain in the ass for my gaming needs back then. this was the closest to my ideal mouse on paper, although slightly heavy. but the ability to switch between 3 bluetooth devices and one usb dongled computer is very tempting for my multiple machines. ugh, but at $69 .... still not worth it for such a gamble.

I was looking for a wired 502 hero like the recent deal, but now this is up... Is it a really good deal?

I've had this on my deal alerts for months. I have the 602 and love it. I use each of the 6 side-mounted buttons to trigger macros created in autohotkey. I save hours of work every week by using this setup. My new XPS doesn't have a USB-A port, so I really want the 604 for its bluetooth, but I"m worried about the accidental double-clicks you guys are reporting int his thread Frown Decisions decisions.

Thanks, OP!
