My daughter has been wanting an Apple Watch for a while. We've been eyeing up the Series 3 for a while. I know there is a new Series 6 expected to be released in or around October. What I don't know is Apple's history on pricing watches when new models are released. Do they typically mark down older models? Like should we expect to see the Series 4 at the price the series 3 is now? If so, would it be worth waiting 2 months? Or is this worth it enough to jump on now? Thank you to anyone that can help!

The series 4 was discontinued by Apple.

Ohhh. That's good to know. So I'm guessing they will either keep the series 3 discounted or possibly discount the series 5. Thank you for that info!

There's a strong rumor the series 6 will be released (at least announced) this week. They current series 5 (or something very similar) might become the new lower cost (replacing the series 3) watch after the announcement.

I actually have this exact model but I feel like I will soon upgrade when the Series 7 comes out. Once the 6 is out then the 3 will kinda fall off. I recommend just getting the 5 at black friday because the 3 is going to be too old soon.
