A couple years (or so) ago, I started encountering lots of "incomplete" issues with Astraweb, so I ended up switching. Tried several, ended up on newshosting.com. No issues (that I've noticed) since. I do have a 'block account' with them, though looking at sabnzbd, it doesn't look like it's getting hit at all, which is good.
Never been on Usenet, so Idk what this is exactly. From the looks of it... is it just for news reading/watching? I think I'm missing something here because some are complaining about the bandwidth limits. Could someone kindly explain what this is for?

It's also used for downloading. It usually has really fast download speeds (depends on provider). You'll probably want to look into if you're thinking of using it. It's pretty big on movies and tv shows but some stuff gets taken down quick. You just need to find some good NZB providers. A lot of them are private and many are paid.

However only 1TB/mo downloads may ruin this deal IMHO
Also FWIW I appear to have a $30/yr newsdemon account - so lower price than this. Similar deal can be seen here: https://slickdeals.net/share/iphone_app/t/13989344

But I can imagine Covid made the companies less aggressive in their marketing, and fight over market shares this year.
