the amazon seller... bulbs n moe are paying someone to post it here. the giveaway is the mysterious coupon codes. amazon doesnt send out codes to folks. they just dont. if you see a coupon code here that isnt also on the amazon page... 99% its a paid post.

and yes, 100% that happens. not so much working "together"... but the amazon seller will message/email folk here and offer them decent money to post deals, and other folk they will message after the fact and ask for thumbs up, and comments for less money, but still surprisingly a lot.

its pretty crazy how much traffic products will get when posted here. there are likely tens of thousands of people browisng this site at any given time. tossing a few bucks to a couple dozen people is nothing compared to what it would cost to advertise here. and comes across as a genuine deal with other people saying its a deal, so hey, it must be a deal, right?

and slickdeals doesnt care because they get affiliate click revenue. they actually promote it. note that the original poster is "slickdeals staff".
Can't stand "deals" like this that are all shilled up in the first comment by the product seller.
That first post really comes off as a shill. That said, 1600 lumen and dimmable for $1.56 per bulb is a pretty slick deal

5000k is going to be light on the blue end of the spectrum, some people prefer 3000k which is closer to an incandescent lamp in color (redder).

Not sure how the first comment would be a shill if it's not the OP and it's posted nearly 7 hours later? Are you saying that they're working together? Serious question.

Thanks, in for a set. I currently have some 800 Lumen dimmable but they are not bright enough. I haven't seen many deals on the 1600 lumen dimmable LED.

The seller offers 2700k, but the coupon doesn't work for that color temperature. That's too bad. There are a few places in my house where a 100-watt equivalent worked work better than the current 60, but I don't like the bright white 5000k lights.

Anybody ever heard of this brand? I do need 100 watt 5000k bulbs, but I don't want to have to keep changing faulty low quality ones.
