Search eBay or Reddit for "$15 Mint Mobile Referral" - for new customers, the FREE referral link is in the eBay item description or Reddit post so there's no need to pay anything. REMEMBER sharing, advertising, or PMing referrals is a VIOLATION of SD rules & can result in a BAN.
STEP 2
Head to Manage Plan. Then you can choose to switch your plan immediately, at your next monthly reset or at the end of our plan. You will need to pay the additional cost to upgrade. Existing customers are not eligible for introductory offers so you will need to pre-pay for 12 months to pay $30/mo.
NEW Mint Mobile Customers
STEP 1
Check eBay (a listing description) or Reddit for a 'Mint Mobile Referral' to get a $15 account credit for your new Mint Mobile account. The FREE referral link is in the eBay item description or Reddit post so there's no need to pay anything. REMEMBER sharing, advertising, or PMing referrals is a VIOLATION of SD rules & can result in a BAN.
STEP 2
Make sure your ad blocker is temporarily disabled. Then, paste the link obtained in Step 1 in to the browser and let it redirect you to the Mint Mobile page. You should see a banner letting you know 'Join your friend on Mint and get $15 applied to your account.' You may also combine this with a cashback offer from a credit card like AMEX or a portal like T C B. You should still see the friendbuy banner after clicking through a portal. Click through the cashback portal last to minimize the chance of cashback issues (Last-Click Attribution). You could also opt to contact customer service 15 days after activation for the refer-a-friend credit and only use the cashback portal.
STEP 3
Click 'Shop Plans' in the navigation bar and choose the Unlimited plan.
STEP 4
Checkout with one SIM Kit. Repeat steps 2-4 again for each SIM Kit to maximize the offer.
STEP 5
Activate service within 45 days of your purchase, otherwise the SIM Kit will expire as will any friendbuy code associated with the order. You should see an account credit under 'Renewal Balance' (not Wallet) for $15 after 15 days of active service. If you don't see it, contact whomever you got the code from. Mint Support will ask for your their Mint email and your Mint email as well as your order number. This is a 35GB plan with 5GB hotspot. The other plans can fully use up all the data as hotspot, like the 12GB plan can hotspot all 12GB.
Unlimited data on first 35gb? I don't think they really understand what does unlimited mean
Not unlimited data. it's slow down to slow ass 2G (64 kbps) can't even use google map with this crap speed after 35GB.
At this price, you could get Sprint kickstart with truly unlimited data.

Mint Mobile's "Unlimited Data" plan comes with 35GB of high-speed data, which is slowed to 64 kbps thereafter and reset at the next billing cycle.

Not bad...something that actually finally beats the $40 metro plan. Also good for them for switching off that cringe AF "doesn't seem right" ad campaign lol

I have mints 12gb plan and in some areas there is no data when you are past the limit. When it's throttling you might be able to watch youtube at 144p with a little buffering

thats so stupid of them.
they should at least do 12gig hotspot to match their 12gig plan.
also, match the 2g speeds of their 12gig plan (128k/sec) instead of 64k.

"Data speeds reduce after 35GB but data is unlimited"
"Unlimited" means it never runs out; not that the speed never gets throttled.
