There's a good chance we do see a lower price before Christmas. But not lower than $19.99. Keep in mind that The Lego Group has suffered a tremendous downturn in bricks sold across the board during the COVID lockdown. Mall stores took a big hit, thier most profitable store at Downtown Disney took a massive hit. They want to sell as many of these sets as they can because even on sale the profit per box is greater than any other set offered. And Amazon usually has them on sale in October or early November.

I've never understood these Advent Calendar sets. There are never any buildings and most of the pieces are tiny. 300+ pieces are so misleading compared to other Lego sets. Are they popular because they are only seasonal?
I'm just curious and not trying to say anything negative about these sets. I've always wondered.
