This is off topic, but when is yours due? my human is due Oct 2. I also was looking for kids lamp for my first born
Off topic. Don't leave lights on when baby is sleeping. Not just confuse baby, also not good for brain development

I also used Philips Hue lights to remote color colors during sleep training. Within a week, baby can sleep all the way to early morning.

Interesting. Have child #2 on the way, may be good for when the wife is breastfeeding.

10/27. With our first, we had a small lamp and I bought a bulb that you could control from your phone. It worked ok. It was useful when she slept in our room and would wake up to breastfeed since we kept the room dark. Once she went in her crib, we not only had the hall light on, but also a Hatch that gives off some light. Now that I say that, you may want to consider the Hatch. It connects via bluetooth and can get pretty bright.

Is this 60 Watts equivalent (800 lumens)? If so, probably still a high price for $25.

The non-USB version got very good reviews on Amazon. Not really feeling the design, but I've been in the market for a pair of usb bedside lamps. I'll bite.

Did any of the reviews mention if the USB port supported fast charging?

my guess is no, but for a night stand light, for me, it wouldn't make a difference, since it'll charge full in 3 hrs either way..

Bought the non-USB a while back and liked it very much. Bought one of this version on Friday and it delivered Saturday. It came with an edison style lightbulb that handles the dimming function better than a Hue lightbulb. Bought six more of the lights today.
