Wouldn't recommend owning this keyboard after having it for 3 years. Keycaps are cheap and one of my keys started repeating or not registering at all, which is an issue that's happened with other owners. The switches they use feel mushy to me, although some people enjoy them. I'm moving on from this keyboard.
Wow, I had this in my wish list and was about to buy, but I think this is one of the few times I'll let the negative reviews dissuade me. My G110 is still working fine, but I was wanting to try out a mechanical keyboard that's not super loud and super expensive.

As someone who owns this keyboard I wouldn't recommend it. The keys don't feel anything remotely like a mechanical Keyboard. It is a very big keyboard too. I ended up buying the surface keyboard and haven't used this one since!
I own this keyboard and like it. The keys aren't loud like cherry MX blue keys and it's really silent. Linus did a review on spark version of this and the only difference is the wrist strap and the key caps. Spectrum has the flat normal keys except for WASD for gaming.

I bought a fairly cheap drevo compact board to try typing on a mechanical, and it wound up convincing me. There are "silent" switches... I've currently got a corsair on my wishlist and apparently settled on getting it with the silent switches if possible.
For yourself, I'll say you get used to the "loud" typing. It just starts to blend in before long. If there are others around though, yeah, they'll hate you quick.
As someone who owns this keyboard, I definitely recommend it. These are a great middle ground for both productivity and gaming. They are quiet, have the right amount of tactile feedback, and they still hold up perfectly after 5 years. I also own a set of MX Blues, and I type just as fast with these. I have issues double tapping with the Blues due to its tactile feedback. I'm tempted to get a second for the wife, but she seems easily satisfied with her 10 year old pass down G15.
All - note - this is an open box item. And if you go to the "discuss this item" button - someone wrote "That's not open box - there is no retail box ever. Just keyboard wrapped in paper. "

Hard to pass up $80 for this keyboard that I've been contemplating for years, but this logic makes it easier. Thanks for noticing that.
had this keyboard, ngl its trash, keys started to auto click on its own and made games unplayable, so I went with a razer keyboard and its good so far.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I kinda want to go back to the basic old dell keyboards, I type better on them.
WHAT IS A GOOD KEYBOARD FOR TYPING?
