This is the best USB-C dongle that I've used. Also a great price for one that has 100 watt passthrough, and ethernet.

I have this one as well and the 100 watt passthrough does not work out of the box. You have to use a Windows computer to do a firmware upgrade and that firmware upgrade never worked for me or a ton of other people on Aukey's website. Lots of complaints about it.

So if you're getting this for the 16" MacBook Pro, buyer beware about the 100W passthrough.

I have this, works great! But gets super hot though. Best if you give it space to properly cool off.

Where did you get the firmware update? Since I couldn't find that they even offer one for this model (CB-C71) on their site: https://www.aukey.com/downloads/

Have it and so far works with everything I've thrown at it. I've used it with 90w ravpower pd and it has worked fine with me. Used it with a phone for hdmi output and that was great to. It's like a mini dock. I only wished it had longer cable maybe

Would not recommend this as it's only 4K30. There are similar USB-C hubs (if not cheaper) that will do 4K60 (or higher).
