Finally did get a response from slickdeals. Had to submit proof that I opened the account. Still waiting for my bonus

Still no bonus and no response from slickdeals after providing proof that the account was opened. I won't ever make the mistake of falling for one of these scams again.
update 3 (10/2/20):
Still no bonus. 8 days ago Slickdeals told me to wait until the end of this week for the bonus to show in my account. It has now been 86 business days of the 60 that they promised.

Finally got my bonus.
It only took three emails to [email protected], sending additional proof that I opened the HSBC account and a long wait of 127 days or 89 business days. I definitely will never be doing one of these slickdeal rebates ever again.

In another DD type deal, sending money to the account via PayPal counted as DD. My guess is Venmo and Cash App work for this too? Can anyone confirm?

Meanwhile, I came to report that I got my SD rebate for this smoothly.
It's not a hard pull for a deposit account. They would break their call center with complaints and heads would roll. Even if they are getting time pre-qual info it's not.
Source: guy most directly hands on responsible for opening hundreds of thousands of accounts at a big bank and integrating all the bureau and non-bureau things that tie in to all the various products.
The freeze code comes back. It's safe to honor it and go full stop.
You certainly can't get a deposit account anywhere without the header data at a minimum. There's usually a prominent FAQ to explain all this so people don't freak out.
Also, don't expect a response from slickdeals. I sent multiple emails and have yet to get a reply
