I bought one of these Series 4 TCL TVs a year ago for the same discounted price. Absolutely no regrets. The picture quality at this price point makes it tough to beat. I was so impressed that I bought the 65" version as well.
Bro, we live in the United States. Every electronic device that has internet access has spyware.
We have a 43" 4 Series in the bedroom. It's fine for people on a budget. The vast majority of people shopping for a TV like this are unlikely to notice the differences between a 4 Series and 6 Series.

$299 at bestbuy, historical prices don't make this seems like a deal? just my opinion.

If it were $230 or less then yeah.

You need to go have your vision checked. The 4 series suck. 6 series is passable. 4 series flickers so much I thought I was gonna have a seizure. I

It's pretty good TV, hard to beat for the price. Of course there are better TVs but they are more expensive.

Bought 2 of these a few months ago for elderly users, roku was the main selling point. The remote control and UI is more elderly friendly than others.

A little over 2 years passed since I got the 55 inch TCL TV 421 same one-- now screen has a half side which is darker than the other. I am disappointed.

I thought the same thing. I don't understand how these things get rave reviews. I bought one a while back, got it set up and could notice the flicker like crazy. I thought there must have been something wrong with the one I got because of all the great reviews. Swapped that one out for another and it had the same exact flicker that I could notice. Ended up just buying a trusty old Vizio and the picture is great. Was only slightly more expensive too.

It's amazing after this amount of time that people still try to bad mouth the TCL tv's. But it is also a known fact that mental disorders are at an all time high.

It was the same price before I stores. The $599 is just for a show on Walmart website

that's because you were not at 100% brightness.

at 100%, it doesn't flicker.
