Heh...it's Sonos' cousin.

But these look like quality speakers.

Better to go in-store and take a listen. It's sometimes helpful. Only sure way is to bring it home and plug them in.

I have listened to Sonance speakers, though not this particular model. I really liked them. They were very clear and balanced. They are also baffled or enclosed in the back to produce better sound. If they're like the in-wall speakers I listened to, definitely worth the money.

As with all speakers, best to listen to in person but I'd buy just in case and return later if I didn't like them. Don't know how long stock will last.

This is an outdoor, in wall, and in ceiling speaker company that's been around for decades.

It's best to read around for reviews online, because it's generally not easy to test out in ceiling speakers in a store. Even if you find a store that has some connected, the acoustics of your home's ceiling cavity might be quite different than how the store has it set up.

$150 seems to be the typical price for these.

My brother had Sonance ceiling and in wall speaks installed when they had the home built 2 years ago. You would be hard pressed to do better and can easily do worse with with so called name brand names. Is there better sure Focal, Canton, B&W and Def Tech etc. Those will really set the wallet back.

I see these are featured BB Magnolia installs. I bet if you go to a Magnolia showroom they have some set up to listen to. But as others have said what you hear in a showroom may differ greatly to your own home.

^He's right with the Magnolia backing, Specs seem to match others for current price, but quality is on the higher end.

I've got Sonance outdoor speakers, they sound great. Sonance is best known for distributed audio systems. It's quality equipment.

Just installed these in my home gym, and they are underwhelming. I've used paradigm, Polk, Klipsch, and Martin Logan in-ceiling speakers over the years, and so far these are my least favorite. Polks are cheaper, and sound better imo - I would not buy again, nor would I recommend for others looking. Mid bass is good, but the highs are meh and the low end is muddy.
