Nike does have some amazing high end running shoes like the vapor fly next% ,first sub 2 hour marathon was run in Nike, flyknits and Pegasus turbo 2. I love brooks for daily trainers but my pr is in Nike although not a serious runner just 10 marathons. To say Nike's sucks for running shoes is 100% false on these shoes I can only comment on the midsole, react is probably my favorites midsole. Love the responsiveness of it

Nike usually run skinny (not wide) might want to pass if you're wide

A reviewer on youtube noted that these were wide in the toebox relative to other nike shoes. He compared the miler to the pegasus 37 and noted the miler was more comfortable due to this width.

Avoid. Frankly Nike sucks for running shoes. Go with actual running companies like Brooks or Saucony. I'm guessing you overpronate (feet move inward as you walk), so avoid neutral category shoes and go for something that will help your pronation.
100% agree with masterz's comment here. I'm also flat footed and have wide feet. Once I put a pair of Brooks on to run in, I haven't gone to any other brand. They're super comfy (and I get them in Wide) and perfect for running/walking long distances. Many of their shoe models lack the eye appeal of Nike shoes but that's not why I wear them anyway.

I was able to price match with Zappos if anyone else is interested. Much better/easier return policy and great customer service

Nike does have some highly rated shoes for running and many marathon runners wear Nike. These are rated pretty high. In regards to overprotonating, seems like a marketing gimmick to me. FWIW I bought both neutral and stability shoes and they wore in the exact same place on the soles.

Nothing like companies trying to trick me with fresh white kicks. Those things never stay clean and I have to buy new ones. Can't trick me this time!
