If HD website says ship to store but BS says it's available at clearance price (though not specified) is it actually, physically there? I would assume HD site would allow pickup if it was there (even if listed at full price online), but I don't know how HD clearance system works.

You can't do pickup for these. Have to buy from store.

You could never do pick up on these? I'm asking because BS says in stock (though no price) and HD doesn't allow pickup, which usually suggests item is not in stock at store. I understand clearance price is not necessarily reflected online, just trying to understand if BS is accurate.
Also, is HD clearance usually in a specific place, or would they just be in the usual spot? I could totally use some of these, but don't find myself in HD much so I'm not familiar with how they do things.

Usually there are two or three random end caps around the store with clearance items. From recent hue clearance deals items have been in the clearance end cap closest to electrical department.
From my experience once item goes clearance HD won't allow store pickup. BS isn't always correct but I've had luck with recent HD hue deals. Just get out there early, usually don't last long.

Sell hub on Facebook or Ebay for $25ish. I've had good luck doing that.
