if my new laptop's(Macbook Pro) wifi card doesn't have 802.11AX, what kind of speed will I get with this router?

I got the linksys velop AC2400 2 packs off from ebay. They run about 60-65 before tax brand new with free shipping

Everyday price at Walmart. Amazon is a scumbbag, the day after my $25 coupon expires is when they put something I need on sale finally. WiFi 6e was already announced and one product was announced as well so this should be lower.

Not recommend for anyone yet. The first one kept losing IP for the 5Ghz wifi after 1-2 weeks, had to reboot or disconnect the power, unplugged ethernet cable did not fix, the 2.4Ghz wifi works fine. Ordered a replacement and using for a week now. Not sure the software or hardware. Will update later.

That's wireless AC. This is wireless AX (wireless 6). AC is the previous generation which is why it's so much cheaper

depends on what card your mac has? thats the max speed you will get.

Yeah but for most of us, AC is good enough to deliver the speed they need while ensure a good coverage entire house, at least in my case. There is no point to have the latest wifi technology that give you 1 bar signal ASA you step out to the back yard

This thing is a BEAST! Bought it for my brother and was blown away by the speeds and range. This is not really a deal though, it's been this price at Walmart for months now. Waiting for 85 or lower to get one for myself.

I dunno. I think it will be a while before prices start to drop on Wifi 6 routers. How many client devices out there are even capable of using 6e? Add the fact that 6e has shorter range than 5 ghz, I think it's going to be tough to say that prices on Wifi 6 routers are going to tank.
