It would nice if it also included the two small 8oz cups as well but this looks good. Almost similar to the 7500 blender package deal that was posted last month. Ascent series is the latest model series and comes with all the bells and whistles like touch buttons, wifi, bluetooth connectivity, etc..

    Yeah, that E320 model goes on sale every other month or once in a quarter or something; it varies from $300 - $320 in terms of sale price. It was on sale sometime in July this year for $320 (and May prior to that). The personal cup adapter for the E320 is lousy, so I pulled the trigger for the A2300 and yes, its expensive. Also the 7500 bundle was on sale last month for $480. The 7500 bundle maybe a better buy than the 2300 as its all manual control and consequently less issues. I do not think Costco sells any other Vitamix models, I maybe wrong though.

    I been very loosely in the market. Debating on touch (A3x00) vs button. Too bad this bundle has the 48 oz. dry instead of the regular. Still considering it despite that and no bowls.

    Yeah, the 2300 family pack on Vitamix website has the 64oz dry and the two small bowls but one 20oz cups. That appears to be the ultimate bundle! Even the 7500 bundle at Costco has the 32oz dry container and not the regular. For my use, I think the 48oz is plenty but the bowls would have been great..

    For only $30 more, you can get just the (2) bowls. This deal would still come out to be better than the 2300 Family Pack by $70, plus you get the dry container.

    I'm tempted to order, but I know I won't use the dry container. I really wish it was a 48 oz wet container. Is it still worth getting if I know I won't use the dry container and "maybe" may use the 20 oz containers? It's only $50 more than the regular retail of just the A2300 alone, but is that $50 more worth it if I may or may not use the extras? I wanted slate color, but it already sold out on day one.

    Just picked up a v1200 this week for same price through Vitamix road show. Is this Ascent package better than the roadshow package that comes w 64 oz wet, to go cup, 8 oz cup, tamper, holder, scraper and recipe book?

    The 2300 has a 10 year warranty, the 7500 only has a 7 year warranty (unless you spend another $75 for the extended warranty)

    Thats what I'm going to do. I already ordered the 2300 for $499+tax; and will get the bowl from Amazon probably or pick up from a store if its available.

    The Ascent package is the "smart" line series. The motor is the same. However the ascent series has the bluetooth, wifi compatibility and may come with the smart sensors and all that good "smart" stuff (you can operate from your phone, etc). Is it better? I doubt it. Its just convenience. In fact, the legacy model is proven and may work longer years because its all mechanical. V1200 will have very little difference when compared with the Ascent series apart from these few hitech capabilities. This bundle of 2300 has a 48oz dry container in addition to the one you picked from the roadshow. Thats the only difference in the value I can think of. The dry container is probably worth about $130 but if you dont need a dry container dont bother.

For me the 20oz jar has more frequent usage than the two bigger jars, so the E320 was a no go..

    Yes, you are correct. However the 7500 has been in the market for many years and so it doesnt require longer warranty. Thats my thought. I'm thinking the longer warranty on the new smart line series is due to the fact that these are all new/tech with touch buttons, etc.
