We found the gel to be more effective. Only benefit of the roll on is you eliminate the dangers of touching private areas without getting ALl the gel off your fingers....not pleasant.

Not as good of a deal as the other 16oz deal but still cheaper by ounce than the 3 pack gel.
$21.60/12oz= $1.80 ounce
$22.36/16oz = $1.40ounce
$26.90/16 oz professional = $1.68 ounce

I picked up the "professional" version. Appears 1% more active ingredient

FYI, "Biofreeze has a shelf life of 2 years for the cream and patch versions and 3 years for the gel, roll-on, and spray versions." (https://www.performancehealth.com...lief-faq). So, in case you want to stock up, ensure to apply them GENEROUSLY when using Big Grin
