Probably cheapskates looking for a $100 chair or people thinking for another hundred you can get a used HM.

Sure, and that was my plan, but all the ones near me have been $450+ for over 6 months, unless they are damaged. I went with this over a month ago and am pretty happy. I heard some reviews that if you have a wider bottom the seat can be a bit narrow, but it hasn't bothered me.

I have had both Aeron Size B and just bought this 9000 with mesh back.
For reference, i am 6'1", 195lbs, medium build with long legs and a shorter upper body.
The aeron size B can get uncomfortable for people with long legs as i found it to be a shorter seat.
the 9000 has adjustable bottom (meaning it can slide forward and backward). i slide it all the way forward for my long legs to rest.
my posture is very well supported (the back is height adjustable to get the perfect back support) however i would not call this an all day chair but its very very good for comfort. my bottom tires out after 3 hrs or so continously in it which never happened in the aeron or the serta executive chair i had but overall it has a great posture which i prefer.
the arm rests are weird with a slight incline on the gel pad and a round elbow rest. really minor annoyances but overall i dont think anything else comes close to this for this price (specially in these times)

Lenovo return policy states they offer free return shipping and no restocking on all orders returned in 30 days. Does anyone know if that actually applies to chairs?

I'm in the middle of returning another chair, hard to show room anything right now...

Glad this is back. Was hoping they'd have the 9000 with the cushion seat, but they only have the mesh one. The mesh one pokes up into the underside of my legs in a weird way that hurts.

12000 has the cushion seat, but it's sold out here.

I like mesh chairs so I have a question for those who own this chair. I sit deep in my chair (back against the back rest) only about 1/2 the time. The other half, I sit closer to the front of the chair so my tailbone is in the middle of the seat. The trouble with this position in my current chair (https://baysidefurnishings.com/product/corc-8-5/) is that there's a noticeable ridge at the frame when the seat ends that then puts pressure on my upper thighs. I wished my current chair dropped off more or cushioned that ridge more.

Does this chair help with my issue?

There will likely be comments recommended a used Aeron instead.

I got a used Aeron off of craigslist for $325 locally (about 2 months ago). Was in good shape but I still replaced the foam, upgraded the wheels to roller blade style, upgraded the piston to a longer, black one, fixed a minor defect in the arm rest bracket (not visible, with a 3D printed part) and installed a headrest with clamps.

Certainly looks and feels like new, but looking back I would consider a WorkPro Quantum deal instead. Out of the box, brand new, looks great and pretty good quality, with a headrest.

No experience with the Aeron, sorry. And actually I got the Workpro 12000 with head rest for $350.

i have a fused neck and can genuinely pretty much only tolerate sitting in an aeron or leap 2 .... and to be completely honest the leap 2 plus is the best chair for me to not have my back lock up or nerves start pinching within minutes.

And now that you think i'm probably "large" because i mentioned the leap 2 plus.... I am 6'0" 165 lbs.

Does anybody know how the width feels on this chair compares to something like the Dexley/Hykenfrom Staples?

i love my Quantum 9000.
and i find HM not having headrest ridiculous (flame suit on for all those HM fan boys who is going to claim HM doesn't need headrest because that is wrong posture and would hurt your back)

I have the Workpro 9000, bought it earlier this year, have been using it to work from home for about 6 months now. The front edge of seat bottom has a good 3-4" of padding (from front of the seat towards the back) that's probably 1-2" thick (top to bottom) under the mesh. The hard part of the seat frame is really to the front of the seat, rather than the top. It drops off pretty nicely. I tend to sit further back in the seat most of the time, but I have never been bothered by the hard part of the front of the seat frame.
