*** UPDATE -- free AAL ends COB Thursday, 9/24! ***

It appears that another T-Mobile "Line On Us" for existing customers is coming this Friday. No word on the duration of the promo. Voice lines only.

It also allegedly stacks with the prior free lines. I'll update with any cheap/free phone deals that may be available...

Look up your SOC code (pasted from prior deal thread -- can't create a Wiki for some reason):

How do I look up my SOC code?
If you want to know what your SOC code is, login using a web browser so you are looking at your account. Be sure to enable "Web Console". (FireFox --> Menu --> Web Developer --> Web Console) Pop over to the Network tab and look for an XHR request to "Subscriber".
you'll see your SOC Code in the Response section. For example, here is the relevant section:

````
{
"ratePlan": {
"name": "Simple Choice North America 10GB Family Match Promo",
"planType": "SIMPLECHOICE",
"socCode": "10SFM2LN"
}
}
````

You need to be on the "home" URL when you enable the tools. I've attached a screenshot that shows (circles) all of the areas you should be at or click to ensure you can see the SOC Code. Sorry if this is too complicated - just trying to share info.

For your plan code view in Chrome:
View>Developer>JavaScript Console. Then tap Network tab then XHR tab.
Then go to the main T-Mobile account homepage (the magenta square with white T in the upper left…or refresh it if already there).
In the Java window, single-tap Subscriber (or type it in the Filter search tab if you can't find it, then single-tap Subscriber)
Tap Response tab (if not already selected). In that long string, you will find the plan and socCode.

Can I have 2 free lines? I have 2 paid lines on FRLTULF2 and 1 free line already. I'm wondering if I can add an additional free line?

so my account is included in the promo.

the bigger question is, why should I/we add another one, since it'd cost extra $4-$5/month on taxes.

I seriously doubt my simple choice plan will work 😑
follow the instructions and look up the code. I'm on a simple choice plan and received the free line back in July

I'm squatting on my line from July and waiting until my 5 year old becomes an appropriate age for a cell phone. The 2 year old though....

My plan too is 10SCFM4 and I actually need to add a line. Could you please tell me if you were able to change your rate plan by chatting and/or if there is a way to get this free line.
I may have been able to hit the jackpot. I contacted tmobile help on Twitter and ran into a rep with the initials M.I. who was able to recommend NAFUTT4 code because it is the same rate plan as 10SCFM4. It took him about 30minutes to confirm no changes in billing and that all previous free lines stay free, but he was able to do it and did it. He reminded me to contact back in a few days because the add free line is not active yet so he was quite knowledgeable. Good luck friend.

I signed on for a 'free' line last time, and ended up paying more, but less than current three line rates. Two months later they raised the price. Spent an hour on the phone to get it right, the following month they raised the price. Another couple representatives later it's supposedly fixed. We will see for how long. I would say document everything you can, be prepared to have to deal with mistakes.

I'm in the same boat. Is there another plan with most of the same benefits that is eligable?

Not really. It's one of the better plans, that's why they don't allow these free lines. They want people to voluntarily switch off of them.

Off topic .. anyone can help confirm? In the billing I see Magenta Plus $112.00/mo

Applies discounts and promotions:
$10 AutoPay Discount
$28 Iowa Wireless Hook Up
$30 2020 3rd Line On Us 2 (Additional Lines)
$5 AutoPay Discount (Additional Lines)

What is the real monthly bill, $112 or something lower? I have 3 lines atm and off hand it seems like it's $140 for three lines - 28 (20% hookup) = $112. Then additional deductions for the free line and auto pay?
