How do I look up my SOC code?
If you want to know what your SOC code is, login using a web browser so you are looking at your account. Be sure to enable "Web Console". (FireFox --> Menu --> Web Developer --> Web Console) Pop over to the Network tab and look for an XHR request to "Subscriber".
you'll see your SOC Code in the Response section. For example, here is the relevant section:

You need to be on the "home" URL when you enable the tools. I've attached a screenshot that shows (circles) all of the areas you should be at or click to ensure you can see the SOC Code. Sorry if this is too complicated - just trying to share info.

For your plan code view in Chrome:
View>Developer>JavaScript Console. Then tap Network tab then XHR tab.
Then go to the main T-Mobile account homepage (the magenta square with white T in the upper left…or refresh it if already there).
In the Java window, single-tap Subscriber (or type it in the Filter search tab if you can't find it, then single-tap Subscriber)
Tap Response tab (if not already selected). In that long string, you will find the plan and socCode.

I contacted TF in regards to tomorrow's promo but they don't mention anything about a free phone with adding a line and porting a number.
They mention about the trade in up to $700.

Now they gave me 3 Lines on the magenta plus plan, when I log in my account it says my current plan is $170, also the status of my 20% discount says received..
Am I missing something or they didn't give me the free line?
So I open a new account with T-Mobile tonight with the AT&T number then get two new T-Mobile numbers for the three lines? The only way this doesn't work for me personally is because I don't want to change my parents' #.
If I do get the new numbers, can I do the first suggestion at a later date - port out the numbers I want to keep then port back into the new T-Mobile account to replace the random new numbers?
Getting the "3rd line on us" with hookup discount is a good start if that's all I can do until another free line promotion comes along.
