*** UPDATE -- free AAL ends COB Thursday, 9/24! ***
It appears that another T-Mobile "Line On Us" for existing customers is coming this Friday. No word on the duration of the promo. Voice lines only.
It also allegedly stacks with the prior free lines. I'll update with any cheap/free phone deals that may be available...

Look up your SOC code (pasted from prior deal thread -- can't create a Wiki for some reason):
How do I look up my SOC code?
If you want to know what your SOC code is, login using a web browser so you are looking at your account. Be sure to enable "Web Console". (FireFox --> Menu --> Web Developer --> Web Console) Pop over to the Network tab and look for an XHR request to "Subscriber".
you'll see your SOC Code in the Response section. For example, here is the relevant section:
````
{
"ratePlan": {
"name": "Simple Choice North America 10GB Family Match Promo",
"planType": "SIMPLECHOICE",
"socCode": "10SFM2LN"
}
}
````
You need to be on the "home" URL when you enable the tools. I've attached a screenshot that shows (circles) all of the areas you should be at or click to ensure you can see the SOC Code. Sorry if this is too complicated - just trying to share info.

For your plan code view in Chrome:
View>Developer>JavaScript Console. Then tap Network tab then XHR tab.
Then go to the main T-Mobile account homepage (the magenta square with white T in the upper left…or refresh it if already there).
In the Java window, single-tap Subscriber (or type it in the Filter search tab if you can't find it, then single-tap Subscriber)
Tap Response tab (if not already selected). In that long string, you will find the plan and socCode.

Same thing with chat.
Guess if I had started yesterday I could have tried to get rid of the flag in store. But seriously, it wasn't even about getting the promos, just about opening an account.
Funny thing is I tried to get that Sprint account reopened last month and they said not possible because bill was already zero'd out and "account cancelled"
I think am going to give this a try. I was able to get a hookup code and registered it on 9/17 porting in my Google Voice number. I have not actually set up the new account though. I can do it with new numbers but am wondering what is the best and cheapest AT&T or Verizon plan (or MVNO if those work) to use to port out my existing numbers then port back in? Anyone know if there is a waiting period to do this? If I know I can safely port in my old numbers to the new plan, then I will get the account set up now with the hookup code.
Is it best for me to call customer service and have them doing the change without adding the line yet. Then go to Costco and get them to add the line on us and get the LG Velvet promotion w the prepaid card? I am not a fan of bill credits.
Or can Costco do all together as early as tomorrow or in a couple of days w new Billing cycle? I see some people had issues in the past, and don't want them to mess up.
Also, will essentials $90 plus taxes make sense vs Magenta $120 all included? I know sometimes with taxes and fees can be $20 plus in some cases. Any input appreciated, thanks.
