*** UPDATE -- free AAL ends COB Thursday, 9/24! ***

It appears that another T-Mobile "Line On Us" for existing customers is coming this Friday. No word on the duration of the promo. Voice lines only.

It also allegedly stacks with the prior free lines. I'll update with any cheap/free phone deals that may be available...

Look up your SOC code (pasted from prior deal thread -- can't create a Wiki for some reason):

How do I look up my SOC code?
If you want to know what your SOC code is, login using a web browser so you are looking at your account. Be sure to enable "Web Console". (FireFox --> Menu --> Web Developer --> Web Console) Pop over to the Network tab and look for an XHR request to "Subscriber".
you'll see your SOC Code in the Response section. For example, here is the relevant section:

````
{
"ratePlan": {
"name": "Simple Choice North America 10GB Family Match Promo",
"planType": "SIMPLECHOICE",
"socCode": "10SFM2LN"
}
}
````

You need to be on the "home" URL when you enable the tools. I've attached a screenshot that shows (circles) all of the areas you should be at or click to ensure you can see the SOC Code. Sorry if this is too complicated - just trying to share info.

For your plan code view in Chrome:
View>Developer>JavaScript Console. Then tap Network tab then XHR tab.
Then go to the main T-Mobile account homepage (the magenta square with white T in the upper left…or refresh it if already there).
In the Java window, single-tap Subscriber (or type it in the Filter search tab if you can't find it, then single-tap Subscriber)
Tap Response tab (if not already selected). In that long string, you will find the plan and socCode.

No, type 1 is new accounts only. You can however use a type 3.
If I start an EIP for the free phone promo right now, would that prevent me from taking part in another EIP promo when the iPhone 12 is released next month?

Gotcha. But can I active the line myself by dialing some # number?
Thanks!

Just called and added a free line.

Paid ~$30 for new line activation fee.

In the service agreement:

Quote :
You will be charged a monthly Regulatory Programs ("RPF") & Telco Recovery Fee ("TRF") (not a government required tax or charge) totaling $3.18 for Voice Lines and $1.16 for Mobile Internet Lines ("MI") (subject to change without notice; plus tax). Of the $3.18 total charge for voice lines, $0.60 is applied to the RPF and $2.58 is applied to the TRF. For MI lines $0.15 is applied to the RPF and $1.01 is applied to the TRF. These fees may not apply to certain data devices/services. International rates and roaming charges may apply. Certain rates are subject to change at any time. Your first service cycle may start several days after your activation. If you have a device or accessory under one of our device programs, refer to your agreement for the specific terms and conditions of that program.

If u add the line by yourself , there is no guarantee that the proper promo code (free line code) will be attached correctly.

Best to contact support (Twitter , Facebook messages) for them to add for u. If u are thinking your original way to bypass the fees , generally support will waive if U get a nice rep.

Does anyone know when the promotion ends? I was just talking to a rep that was clueless about it, so I want to call back at a later time. Not sure I trust them not to mess it up being the first one.

On the same line yes. You can have as many EIPs on one line as you want (or credit will allow) but only one promo bill credits per line at a time.

Would a port in from Google Voice work with this promo and the 11pro free phone promo?

From what I understand is that the $5 autopay discount tops out at 8 lines or $40.
So if this line goes over 9, then it will cost you $5/month.
