*** UPDATE -- free AAL ends COB Thursday, 9/24! ***

It appears that another T-Mobile "Line On Us" for existing customers is coming this Friday. No word on the duration of the promo. Voice lines only.

It also allegedly stacks with the prior free lines. I'll update with any cheap/free phone deals that may be available...

Look up your SOC code (pasted from prior deal thread -- can't create a Wiki for some reason):

How do I look up my SOC code?
If you want to know what your SOC code is, login using a web browser so you are looking at your account. Be sure to enable "Web Console". (FireFox --> Menu --> Web Developer --> Web Console) Pop over to the Network tab and look for an XHR request to "Subscriber".
you'll see your SOC Code in the Response section. For example, here is the relevant section:

````
{
"ratePlan": {
"name": "Simple Choice North America 10GB Family Match Promo",
"planType": "SIMPLECHOICE",
"socCode": "10SFM2LN"
}
}
````

You need to be on the "home" URL when you enable the tools. I've attached a screenshot that shows (circles) all of the areas you should be at or click to ensure you can see the SOC Code. Sorry if this is too complicated - just trying to share info.

For your plan code view in Chrome:
View>Developer>JavaScript Console. Then tap Network tab then XHR tab.
Then go to the main T-Mobile account homepage (the magenta square with white T in the upper left…or refresh it if already there).
In the Java window, single-tap Subscriber (or type it in the Filter search tab if you can't find it, then single-tap Subscriber)
Tap Response tab (if not already selected). In that long string, you will find the plan and socCode.

Got the free line this morning and one back in July, everything done through the app. Was charged only $10 for the SIM card back in July. Was charged $30 this morning ($10 SIM card fee + $20 activation/assistance fee). The rep this morning refused to waive the $20 fee because I had to "talk to him" on the app to get the offer while the one back in July told me there was no $20 fee since I used the app.
I refused to pay the damn foool $10. Gave me this BS excuse . I was able to use t force and the rep was able to waive the fee. Matthew, you hear me. You son of a gun

Can confirm you can add the free line at Costco and stacks with $100 Costco Cash Card BYOD offer. No sim fee, no support fee. This is definitely the way to go!
Do you have any kind of offer code or something you can provide to help me out? The guy at Costco told me I need to activate two new lines to do this and wouldnt hear any of it. Thanks!

Chat from 611 agent:

"Thank you very much for patiently waiting, I totally understand how important it is to take advantage of this offer it;s just that I was able to see here that you already have a free line on the line XXXX and I do really apologize as it only one line on the account should have free line. I hope that the situation that we have here will not affect my service to you today ..."

Anyone have any luck getting both the July free line and this one?
I did it. So the rep is definitely incompetent

Yep, totally incompetent. Called 611 and phone rep took care of me. Thanks for encouraging me to keep trying.

I talked to a rep over the phone. He charged me the $20 activation fee, but gave me $20 credit on my bill making it free.

The OP says the offer is for one free voice line. Does it mean that data and text are not included?

Just got off the chat. Rep was able to add free line, waived sim and service fees. I have SC plan and got a free line last time. Excellent rep. FYI, his name is Andy.

I see that some are trying to get the free iPhone 11 pro with trade in and GV porting. But seems like it'll requires some work.

Thanks for a second confirm but I have been lied to at Costco Wireless kios about qualifying for a promotion before and it turns out my plan was qualified. Do you have any proof that Costco indeed added a free line and not screw up your account?

Not possible with that plan
I just tried and was told no.
They offered to move me to an Essentials plan!
"Uhhh no thanks!"

Stuck with 3 lines for $80, not too bad, but need just one more line!

Can someone confirm that they were able to do all of the below combined?
  1. add a new free line with the promotion
  2. combine the free line promotion + the free iPhone 11 Pro with port in
  3. do both of the above at Costco to get the $100 gift card?
