*** UPDATE -- free AAL ends COB Thursday, 9/24! ***

It appears that another T-Mobile "Line On Us" for existing customers is coming this Friday. No word on the duration of the promo. Voice lines only.

It also allegedly stacks with the prior free lines. I'll update with any cheap/free phone deals that may be available...

Look up your SOC code (pasted from prior deal thread -- can't create a Wiki for some reason):

How do I look up my SOC code?
If you want to know what your SOC code is, login using a web browser so you are looking at your account. Be sure to enable "Web Console". (FireFox --> Menu --> Web Developer --> Web Console) Pop over to the Network tab and look for an XHR request to "Subscriber".
you'll see your SOC Code in the Response section. For example, here is the relevant section:

````
{
"ratePlan": {
"name": "Simple Choice North America 10GB Family Match Promo",
"planType": "SIMPLECHOICE",
"socCode": "10SFM2LN"
}
}
````

You need to be on the "home" URL when you enable the tools. I've attached a screenshot that shows (circles) all of the areas you should be at or click to ensure you can see the SOC Code. Sorry if this is too complicated - just trying to share info.

For your plan code view in Chrome:
View>Developer>JavaScript Console. Then tap Network tab then XHR tab.
Then go to the main T-Mobile account homepage (the magenta square with white T in the upper left…or refresh it if already there).
In the Java window, single-tap Subscriber (or type it in the Filter search tab if you can't find it, then single-tap Subscriber)
Tap Response tab (if not already selected). In that long string, you will find the plan and socCode.

No go at Costco, for my Simple Choice NA plan.

Rep says it's showing as a Flex Plan, probably because it's grandfathered. I did successfully get a free line back in July, so if I tried calling in it might work.

Basically, Costco is more restrictive.

I must be getting old. I don't have the patience to deal with tmobile anymore. The website DIY doesn't give me the options I want. The chat is too busy. Even getting someone to answer 611 is a hassle, why do i need a passcode to talk to someone? Besides, if I find my passcode, after that my chances of getting a rep that will know anything about this promotion is a 50-50 at best. And don't get me started with having to spend the next few months trying fix something that a rep screwed up. It's almost not worth the trouble.

Got a Text from Tmobile - "Start Fall off right! Add a FREE line to your T-Mobile account"... I called them for the free line and now they tell me I'm not eligible. This is now the 2nd time they have done this...How do they manage to screw up this much? Anyone else having similar issues?

Trying to figure out what is the best way to do this. I have all in one 2 lines for $100. So I don't qualify. But if I change it to the simple Choice for $90 plus taxes I will? If I try to change it myself to the 2 lines for $90, it says that it will take effect in 2 days due to billing cycle.

Is it best for me to call customer service and have them doing the change without adding the line yet. Then go to Costco and get them to add the line on us and get the LG Velvet promotion w the prepaid card? I am not a fan of bill credits.

Or can Costco do all together as early as tomorrow or in a couple of days w new Billing cycle? I see some people had issues in the past, and don't want them to mess up.

Also, will essentials $90 plus taxes make sense vs Magenta $120 all included? I know sometimes with taxes and fees can be $20 plus in some cases. Any input appreciated, thanks.

Would/could the phone be unlocked?
If not immediately, how long do I have to wait?

This was chats response to my inquiry about receiving the text message about the promo and trying to add it to my business line.

"I do apologize for the confusion,. Seems that we had a system glitch at this moment. Our support teams are investigating the issue. At this time, please disregard the notification.
for now our support teams are still investigating the issue. This should not suppose to be sent out to customers, its a system glitch."

I called T-Mobile and got a free line and a iPhone 11 Pro Max (Midnight Green) for $100 by porting in a Google Voice number and trading in an iPhone Xr. Before calling, I unlocked the Google Voice number ($3 charged by Google). I have the Simple Choice North America 6GB Family Match plan (SOC: 6SCFM2LN) plus the $40 Friends & Fam 2 Lines On Us. Basically, 2 paid lines + 2 free lines. The new line will make it 2 paid lines + 3 free lines on my plan.

I wanted to get the iPhone 11 Pro, but they had zero in stock. I asked the rep if there is any stock at my local stores. She said that their inventory system is connected, and there is no stock at my local stores as well. I guess $100 for a Pro Max is not so bad after all. They gave me $207 instant trade-in credit, and the rest ($793) will be issued as bill credits over 24 months. She also waived the sim card fee and activation fee. I paid sales tax on $1,100 (full price of the Max Pro) upfront. It adds $12.80/month to my bill for 24 months (subtract the $207 instant trade-in credit, and the total boils down to $100).
When T-Mobile asks you which carrier your Google Voice number is from, what do you tell them? Thank you!

I weent through roughly the same steps as you other than having a T-Mobile One account and a Tracfone line to port in. Expected to go for an iPhone 11 Pro, none in stock and got the iPhone 11 Pro Max in Green for the $100 after the discounts (plus the full tax).
T-mobile allowed you to port in a Tracfone number?
I tried to use a Tracfone number and the rep told me that is not an eligible number
Tracfone is a MNVO on T-Mobile's network...

For the people who have been successful porting in a Google Voice number, did you tell the rep that it was from Google Voice?

Do anyone know for Tmobile ONE 9-12 lines plan, hookup discount applies after autopay or after whatever free lines you have? Can someone share a screenshot of it to see how it looks?
