*** UPDATE -- free AAL ends COB Thursday, 9/24! ***

It appears that another T-Mobile "Line On Us" for existing customers is coming this Friday. No word on the duration of the promo. Voice lines only.

It also allegedly stacks with the prior free lines. I'll update with any cheap/free phone deals that may be available...

Look up your SOC code (pasted from prior deal thread -- can't create a Wiki for some reason):

How do I look up my SOC code?
If you want to know what your SOC code is, login using a web browser so you are looking at your account. Be sure to enable "Web Console". (FireFox --> Menu --> Web Developer --> Web Console) Pop over to the Network tab and look for an XHR request to "Subscriber".
you'll see your SOC Code in the Response section. For example, here is the relevant section:

````
{
"ratePlan": {
"name": "Simple Choice North America 10GB Family Match Promo",
"planType": "SIMPLECHOICE",
"socCode": "10SFM2LN"
}
}
````

You need to be on the "home" URL when you enable the tools. I've attached a screenshot that shows (circles) all of the areas you should be at or click to ensure you can see the SOC Code. Sorry if this is too complicated - just trying to share info.

For your plan code view in Chrome:
View>Developer>JavaScript Console. Then tap Network tab then XHR tab.
Then go to the main T-Mobile account homepage (the magenta square with white T in the upper left…or refresh it if already there).
In the Java window, single-tap Subscriber (or type it in the Filter search tab if you can't find it, then single-tap Subscriber)
Tap Response tab (if not already selected). In that long string, you will find the plan and socCode.

For the people who have been successful porting in a Google Voice number, did you tell the rep that it was from Google Voice?
I have been trying to read through all the messages to get this information as well!

Thanks Slickdeal,
I just went to T-mobile store and added a new line. I paid $39 for SIM card and activation fee.
$4 tax will be added to my monthly bill but i got my free line for life!

I'm using a grandfathered Simple Choice Unlimited + 5GB hotspot plan.
I have added a free voice line that was offered in July and this was successfully added without any problem.

go to a local T-mobile store and ask for this promotion if you can. great deal.

If I stack with the free iphone 11 pro promo by porting in a line, can I sell the iphone 11 pro and still get the bill credits as long a I keep the free line open? Or do I need to keep the device for the full 24 months?
You can sell it after paying off the phone. Swappa and other sites do IMEI checks for devices on payment plans.

So pay off eip balance then sell it. To have it unlocked device must be active on line for 40 days.

Maybe a stupid question, if the phone is free (on us), and I pay the tax up front, what would be the EIP balance? Or is that only if I get the Pro Max and have to pay the additional $100 since it cost $1,100 but promo only covers $1,000.

It is but I will break it down.
example. 11 pro is 999.99.
with your trade in device subrtract that from total of 999.99
then divide it by 24. that's ur monthly credit from tmobile.

the balance of 999.99 subtracted from trade in value is what you pay off to sell the phone.

yes....when the rep asks you which carrier are you porting from....I'm not sure if we can just tell them it's a Google Voice number.
One person said they used Tracfone, I tried porting in a Tracfone number but the rep told me no go.

Can you tell the rep we are porting from Google voice? Did you have success?

I called, we have five lines and rep says the free line is only for a 3rd kind and since we already have a third line, we can't avail of this. Is this true?
