*** UPDATE -- free AAL ends COB Thursday, 9/24! ***

It appears that another T-Mobile "Line On Us" for existing customers is coming this Friday. No word on the duration of the promo. Voice lines only.

It also allegedly stacks with the prior free lines. I'll update with any cheap/free phone deals that may be available...

Look up your SOC code (pasted from prior deal thread -- can't create a Wiki for some reason):

How do I look up my SOC code?
If you want to know what your SOC code is, login using a web browser so you are looking at your account. Be sure to enable "Web Console". (FireFox --> Menu --> Web Developer --> Web Console) Pop over to the Network tab and look for an XHR request to "Subscriber".
you'll see your SOC Code in the Response section. For example, here is the relevant section:

````
{
"ratePlan": {
"name": "Simple Choice North America 10GB Family Match Promo",
"planType": "SIMPLECHOICE",
"socCode": "10SFM2LN"
}
}
````

You need to be on the "home" URL when you enable the tools. I've attached a screenshot that shows (circles) all of the areas you should be at or click to ensure you can see the SOC Code. Sorry if this is too complicated - just trying to share info.

For your plan code view in Chrome:
View>Developer>JavaScript Console. Then tap Network tab then XHR tab.
Then go to the main T-Mobile account homepage (the magenta square with white T in the upper left…or refresh it if already there).
In the Java window, single-tap Subscriber (or type it in the Filter search tab if you can't find it, then single-tap Subscriber)
Tap Response tab (if not already selected). In that long string, you will find the plan and socCode.

Thanks Slickdeal,
I just went to T-mobile store and added a new line. I paid $39 for SIM card and activation fee.
$4 tax will be added to my monthly bill but i got my free line for life!

I'm using a grandfathered Simple Choice Unlimited + 5GB hotspot plan.
I have added a free voice line that was offered in July and this was successfully added without any problem.

go to a local T-mobile store and ask for this promotion if you can. great deal.
Can you check the data setting on your account and the newly added line? I just did this in store (plus Promo T365 [ Purchase a new iPhone 11 Pro or 11 Pro Max using T-Mobile's Equipment Installment Plan (EIP), activate a new voice line on a qualifying plan, bring your number over (port-in) and trade in an eligible device and save up to $1000 via a one-time trade-in credit and 24 monthly bill credits.] and the newly added line has no data. Options to add it under My Account offer only No data, 6GB at 10 or 10 GB at 30. I want the 'standard' 4Gb as per all the remaining lines. Chatting with Tmobile as I type this and hoping to get a resolution.

I had this issue in July. If you have simple choice like me, they have to manually add the data plan to line. The rep doesn't usually do it because most of the newer plans already have data automatically added to the new line.

I have 3 lines (2paid+1free from July deal) already. I have 2 lines can be ported in from at&t. If I port in the 4th with free, 5th as a paid. After getting the $250 for both of them, I can cancel the 5th without touching the and 3rd freeline (from July deal) and 4th freeline (this time), right?
According to the terms (pic) in the wiki, "credits will stop if you cancel any lines"

Somewhat related question to this deal

How is everyone using the extra lines? I have 4 now and they're just sitting for some day I may have use. Until then I use them for Tmobile Tuesdays

I wonder if there's a way (not as a Hotspot) to integrate these sim cards in to home network and discontinue cable internet.

Let me know if any one has any ideas

That seems to be the case as the CSR is still on the chat with me and still no updates.... Crossing my fingers it will work... (and yes, I am on Simple Choice, too).

UPDATE: Took about 20 min but they were able to add the 'standard' 4GB data. All is well.

Now just hoping the iPhone 11 Pro promo goes through ok (but need to wait up to 2 months for it to appear)....

How do you add a line from the app or web? I can't seem to find it with the promo
I think you just add the line. There's no promo or anything to enter anywhere. If your plan qualifies for the free line, it'll happen automatically. When I added the line, it stated it would be $30/month (my 12th line on Magenta) ... I bit the bullet and went through with it.

I placed my order this morning 8 hours ago. There's no indication anywhere online that my line has been added or is going to be free. An hour ago I got shipping notice for the sim card and 30 minutes ago I received a text stating "Congrats! You will receive your promotional service discount from T-Mobile as long as you maintain eligibility. " So I'm pretty sure all is well. Again, and this was the same for folks in June/July in the last free line offer, you just need to add the line however you want (online yourself, calling in, T-Force) and it'll be free if you qualify. It's an educated guess but the T-Mobile employee adding the line for you isn't entering any special codes either ... they just make sure your account qualifies by reading whatever docs they have and add the line like you would.

Got a Text from Tmobile - "Start Fall off right! Add a FREE line to your T-Mobile account"... I called them for the free line and now they tell me I'm not eligible. This is now the 2nd time they have done this...How do they manage to screw up this much? Anyone else having similar issues?
Got the same txt and my plan is not listed.

Thank you everyone, thanks OP, this is an amazing deal.
I created 7 lines with T-mobile, The first Three from Costco yesterday deal 9/17, that gave me free line and costco rebate as well, today I did another 4 lines at store and that gives me $250 per line. now let's do the math.

9/17/2020
Line One $68
Line Two $44
Line Three (This line free)
These Three lines come with free activation and $300 rebate cards.

9/18/2020
Line Four (Free)
Line Five (Free)
Line Six $24
Line 7 $24
These lines comes with $1000 Prepaid master cards from T-mobile
Also I have to pay $124 activations/sims, I could technically get it waved through Online but I preferred to pay anyway.

So now My 7 lines cost $160 a month and I will be getting $1300 back.

This is awesome and thank you so much everyone.
