*** UPDATE -- free AAL ends COB Thursday, 9/24! ***

It appears that another T-Mobile "Line On Us" for existing customers is coming this Friday. No word on the duration of the promo. Voice lines only.

It also allegedly stacks with the prior free lines. I'll update with any cheap/free phone deals that may be available...

Look up your SOC code (pasted from prior deal thread -- can't create a Wiki for some reason):

How do I look up my SOC code?
If you want to know what your SOC code is, login using a web browser so you are looking at your account. Be sure to enable "Web Console". (FireFox --> Menu --> Web Developer --> Web Console) Pop over to the Network tab and look for an XHR request to "Subscriber".
you'll see your SOC Code in the Response section. For example, here is the relevant section:

````
{
"ratePlan": {
"name": "Simple Choice North America 10GB Family Match Promo",
"planType": "SIMPLECHOICE",
"socCode": "10SFM2LN"
}
}
````

You need to be on the "home" URL when you enable the tools. I've attached a screenshot that shows (circles) all of the areas you should be at or click to ensure you can see the SOC Code. Sorry if this is too complicated - just trying to share info.

For your plan code view in Chrome:
View>Developer>JavaScript Console. Then tap Network tab then XHR tab.
Then go to the main T-Mobile account homepage (the magenta square with white T in the upper left…or refresh it if already there).
In the Java window, single-tap Subscriber (or type it in the Filter search tab if you can't find it, then single-tap Subscriber)
Tap Response tab (if not already selected). In that long string, you will find the plan and socCode.

If you BYOD, how soon can you upgrade to a new phone with an installment plan? Does it show upgrade eligible right now? Do you see similar phone deals to new customer prices or are they higher?

Anyway, congrats on the score.
Thanks friend, no you cannot upgrade till you get the $250 cards, once you get that then you can upgrade it. you will receive the cards 15-30 days. Upgrading the line will void the prepaid promotion so I wouldn't recommend it. just wait one month, it could even be less.

You could have added line in Costco and have T-Mobile rep confirm/add if the 4th line doesn't show as free on us. Doable by T-Mobile chat rep/tforce or Cust care

  • Also, as long as you will not change your plan or will not cancel any lines on your account, the 5th new line will be free.
"Add a Free Line to your T-Mobile Plan."

Step 1: Check Eligibility
See if you have a Eligible Rate plan from the list below (You can get your rate plan by following steps at: https://www.reddit.com/r/tmobile/...oc_codes/)

Step 1: Get Promotion
Call 611 and ask if you are eligible for additional free line. Even if you do not have Eligible rate plan in list below, you can give a try. Make sure to ask that there would be no change in billing amount.
  • Even if you have a free line on your account from your previous offers(like the one came in July) or any other existing discounts like T-Mobile Insider or other discounts, you can give a try. The only requirement is you have to have 2 active voice lines with following SOC codes.
  • Be sure to ask customer care about a free LG K51 or Samsung A11 to stack with free line promo.[Available when you port in]

Question for you guys still using a Simple Choice plan. I did the Free Line back in June. Due to family issues soon after the line isn't being used. I checked tonight and it shows 0 data with an option $15 for 6GB option. Anyone else run into this?

If I selected to add 6GB data this "free" line would cost $22.26 with taxes+6GB.

Just to complicate things further I did the $200 discount on a REVVLRY PLUS via monthly rebates for 24 months. If I cancel the line then I have to pay the full $300.

Anyone know if this is stackable with the 50% off a phone when you add a line? It was earlier this year when TMobile had the free line deal
Absolutely wit the iPhone SE for example.

You should be able to get a rep to add the data option that is included. I had that issue before and they were able to add it from their end.

Just happened to me this evening. Had to chat with a rep to make sure the newly added line has the same 4GB plan as the remaining 9 lines on the account. Initially, it was showing - just like for you - No Data / 6GB for $15 / 10GB for $30. Took the CSR over 20 minutes to make things right but it worked in the end. So be sure to contact the Tmobile and be patient.

Worked for me, called around 4pm Pacific Time. Rep checked my account and I was eligible. She also checked for "free devices on us" non was available. I ended up needing to pay $10 for sim card. There was some $20 charge was she waived.

FYI, I'm on a grandfathered plan. It would have only cost me $10/month to add a line with 2gb data.
