*** UPDATE -- free AAL ends COB Thursday, 9/24! ***

It appears that another T-Mobile "Line On Us" for existing customers is coming this Friday. No word on the duration of the promo. Voice lines only.

It also allegedly stacks with the prior free lines. I'll update with any cheap/free phone deals that may be available...

Look up your SOC code (pasted from prior deal thread -- can't create a Wiki for some reason):

How do I look up my SOC code?
If you want to know what your SOC code is, login using a web browser so you are looking at your account. Be sure to enable "Web Console". (FireFox --> Menu --> Web Developer --> Web Console) Pop over to the Network tab and look for an XHR request to "Subscriber".
you'll see your SOC Code in the Response section. For example, here is the relevant section:

````
{
"ratePlan": {
"name": "Simple Choice North America 10GB Family Match Promo",
"planType": "SIMPLECHOICE",
"socCode": "10SFM2LN"
}
}
````

You need to be on the "home" URL when you enable the tools. I've attached a screenshot that shows (circles) all of the areas you should be at or click to ensure you can see the SOC Code. Sorry if this is too complicated - just trying to share info.

For your plan code view in Chrome:
View>Developer>JavaScript Console. Then tap Network tab then XHR tab.
Then go to the main T-Mobile account homepage (the magenta square with white T in the upper left…or refresh it if already there).
In the Java window, single-tap Subscriber (or type it in the Filter search tab if you can't find it, then single-tap Subscriber)
Tap Response tab (if not already selected). In that long string, you will find the plan and socCode.

Can anyone comment. if i switch to magenta today from another tmobile plan, can i add a free line to my new magenda plan ?
I believe plan and add-a-line promo are independent of each other. If the add-a-line-on-us is still available then change plan first and then add-a-line. This is because any rate/plan change effects the free line promotion.

If you do not have any govt or corp discounts, I would recommend the NAFUTT4 soc. It is basically the same rate at $120/4lines and all current and future lines can be switched to unlimited instead of 10gb data limit.

Below is a list of soc that you can look over and see which one fits best and try to get a rep that can change it.
https://docs.google.com/spreadshe...s/htmlview
Thanks, I'll look into that! I see that plan qualifies but I didn't see the details for it. I'll see if a rep can walk me through the differences.

Look close at the plan details and read it yourself, not the rep....they will not make a decision for you, only for themselves...

EX: they are trying to get me to switch every time I have a talk with them...we have 6GB, rollover data, unlimited binge on (tether and stream all day - no data limits for streaming and music). They tried to "upgrade" us to unlimited data - with tethering limits. No thanks. Anyone with 'binge-on' they try very hard to switch, like the automatic 'upgrade' unless you tell us otherwise.

Whoever loves a challenge/puzzle maybe can help.

I have SC 4 lines with taxes $122 (SCFUTT4)
I "can't" go to Magenta because it means $140 with autopay minus Netflix = $130 (still more)
Yes unlimited, but if I need to hotspot, only 3G, and $8 more/mo.

I can temp get rid of 4th line, switch to Magenta with 3 lines for $120, get this promo of free line and in the end, I'll have 4 lines, $120 with autopay minue Netflix = $110! If I really need to temp switch on 4g hotspot, +$15 for that month.

Doable/somebody done this? Thanks!

I believe so. Many thread posts here and on previous offer thread mention customer service reps offer to change plans to an eligible plan to take advantage of the free line offer.

Any idea, when do you submit the port-in info? Agent is telling me that I just order a free line and one I receive a SIM card, I call and then port-in? I am planning to get $250 promo with free line, so just want to make sure. Any thoughts?

What the agent states sounds correct. Once the sim card ships, which you'll get notification of, that's when you'll shortly after see a phone number assigned to the new line (at least that was the case for me). At that point is when I think you can attempt to call in and do the port ... I don't know see any reason to wait to physically have the sim card in your possession. Before they assign a number to your new line, I'm guessing the line is still being set up in their system which is probably why you can't do the port-in immediately.

Great, thanks. Finally, I just read that you can get free low end device like Samsung Galaxy A11 if you port-in. Any idea, that would work with $250 promo?

Is 10SCFM4 same as 10SCFM4L? I tried getting the free line with SOC 10SCFM4 but was unsuccessful.

One good thing with SC plans is when they have a BOGO offer and I need to add a line, it will only cost $10/mo until I meet the required months to be able to cancel.

New thought, if one takes advantage of this new free add a line, will future paid add a line then canceling invalidates this current free line (since it states "credits will stop if you cancel any lines")?

I don't know but I'd think T-Mobile is smart enough not to allow both promos on the same line. I'm just going to do the $250 promo myself and not push my luck. There are various posts in the $250 thread that the $250 promo isn't compatible with the other phone offers.
