*** UPDATE -- free AAL ends COB Thursday, 9/24! ***

It appears that another T-Mobile "Line On Us" for existing customers is coming this Friday. No word on the duration of the promo. Voice lines only.

It also allegedly stacks with the prior free lines. I'll update with any cheap/free phone deals that may be available...

Look up your SOC code (pasted from prior deal thread -- can't create a Wiki for some reason):

How do I look up my SOC code?
If you want to know what your SOC code is, login using a web browser so you are looking at your account. Be sure to enable "Web Console". (FireFox --> Menu --> Web Developer --> Web Console) Pop over to the Network tab and look for an XHR request to "Subscriber".
you'll see your SOC Code in the Response section. For example, here is the relevant section:

````
{
"ratePlan": {
"name": "Simple Choice North America 10GB Family Match Promo",
"planType": "SIMPLECHOICE",
"socCode": "10SFM2LN"
}
}
````

You need to be on the "home" URL when you enable the tools. I've attached a screenshot that shows (circles) all of the areas you should be at or click to ensure you can see the SOC Code. Sorry if this is too complicated - just trying to share info.

For your plan code view in Chrome:
View>Developer>JavaScript Console. Then tap Network tab then XHR tab.
Then go to the main T-Mobile account homepage (the magenta square with white T in the upper left…or refresh it if already there).
In the Java window, single-tap Subscriber (or type it in the Filter search tab if you can't find it, then single-tap Subscriber)
Tap Response tab (if not already selected). In that long string, you will find the plan and socCode.

Try again with a different rep who knows the correct info. Or better yet, read the first post and find your SOC code and see if you're eligible. If your plan is eligible, just add a line (online yourself or via a rep if that makes you more comfortable) and it will magically be free as it's all automatic.
the second and third rep refer to the memo from the first rep and keep declining me. Every call is like 30-45 min.

I can see my SOC code and I am eligible. but when I "add devide" and it says under the phone image "we can't add a phone to your plan online. Please call 1-800-937-8997"

i wish i knew this while in costco. But thanks for letting me know its possible. Hope someone did it. I was hoping to get $100 costco cash card for BYOD option.
Some people are also saying that you can double dip and get T-mobile $250 BYOD rebate too.

That's unfortunate; there's some other issue that only you or T-Mobile can figure out why. On my plan, I also see the "We can't add a phone to your plan online" message today but that's because I'm now at the maximum number of lines on my account (with my free line yesterday).

Try one more time and ask the rep to simply add another phone line to your account and do not mention any promotion (so there's nothing for them to decline). See if that's possible. You just need a line added and if your account is eligible, the system will automatically make it free.

Man, as with any Tmobile promo, this is convoluted!

Looks like this promo will invalidate anybody looking to get in to (existing customer) BOGO promos at Costco by adding a line temporarily until the rebate comes and then removing the line!

I'm on an eligible plan. When I try to add a line it shows up as it is going to cost $20/month. Is it supposed to show the promo anywhere. I didn't add the line, I'm currently waiting for TForce to get back to me.

Apologies if I missed the discussion but can I port from Google voice to stack a cheap free phone with this deal? If so is it OK to say I'm porting from Google voice?

Thanks

Promo doesn't show up anywhere. If you know you're eligible, you just have to bite the bullet and pull the trigger. After your sim card ships and a phone # is assigned to the new line, that's when you'll get a text confirming the promotion ("Congrats! You will receive your promotional service discount from T-Mobile as long as you maintain eligibility.") and then you'll see the promo on your plan. At least that's my experience from yesterday.

If you want immediate gratification of the promo, get a T-Mobile sim card and activate that (calling in or via T-Force). Soon after the new line is added, you'll see the promo in your account. (My experience from the June free line offer.)

Briefly appeared on my browser, can't get it back; but here is the screenshot.

Get a FREE line.

Add a voice line for free to an eligible plan with two of more existing lines. Qualifying credit and Magenta, Essential, ONE, Business Unlimited, or Simple Choice plan required. Credit may take up to 2 billing cycles. Credits will stop if you cancel any lines. Limit 1 offer per account.

Success! I was able to add the line last night thru chat. Extremely slow. I didn't add any phones or anything I just used a SIM card I had from a previous upgrade. The promotion was added to my account as "line on us 2".
I am on a T-Mobile one play with currently 8 lines and I got in on the "line on us 1" promo in July. Good luck!
Awesome! I added my free line about 2 hours ago. Was a number port as well. How long does it take to show that promo on the account? I do see my plan up $20 now and no mention of the promo listed (I do see prior promos though). Though the rep confirmed like 3 times that I got the free line. Thanks.

I'm on a T Mobile ONE plan with six paid lines. I scored a free line during the promo in June, and was able to score another free line this morning - both times via app chat. I asked if they would waive the $20 fee since my account is in good standing, and they waived it both times.
